C02 is a natural greenhouse gas. what do you think plants need? WHat do you think we exhale? now you are crying over cow farts aka methane.
quote:
MYTH 4: CO2 is the most common greenhouse gas. FACT: Greenhouse gases form about 3% of the atmosphere by volume. They consist of varying amounts, (about 97%) of water vapour and clouds, with the remainder being gases like CO2, CH4, Ozone and N2O, of which carbon dioxide is the largest amount. Hence, CO2 constitutes about 0.04% of the atmosphere. While the minor gases are more effective as "greenhouse agents" than water vapour and clouds, the latter are overwhelming the effect by their sheer volume and – in the end – are thought to be responsible for 75% of the "Greenhouse effect". (See here) At current concentrations, a 3% change of water vapour in the atmosphere would have the same effect as a 100% change in CO2. Those attributing climate change to CO2 rarely mention these important facts.

Yes, that’s exactly what I mean. You say it like it would be a smart move.
Smart or not, it would have minimal (if any) political consequence for him.

So instead of taking the $20 billion offered in December or the $1.6 billion offered last month, he settles for $1.375 billion.
Great negotiator.

If that’s true, it’s only because there would be so much backlash that would never get implemented.

Trump isn’t actually interested in building a wall. At least he hasn’t acted the part up to this point.

I live in the real world. He had a Republican congress for nearly two years and started making the most noise about this upon the Democrats taking the House.
Sorry

Weekly reminder that the Democrats offered Trump and the GOP $25 billion to build the wall along with other border security measures and they turned it down.
LINK
quote:
Congressional Democratic leaders offered the president $25 billion to build the wall in exchange for a path to citizenship for undocumented youth eligible for DACA.
But the White House and GOP leaders opposed that and offered only a two-and-a-half year protection for DACA beneficiaries in exchange for the $25 billion wall. Democrats said no, arguing that it’d permanently give Trump his wish while leaving Dreamers in limbo after a few years, according to people familiar with the negotiations at the time.
And so the talks fell apart.
Nine months later, Trump’s best hopes of securing his campaign promise to "build a wall" are gone. Democrats, who recently won control of the House, have rejected his plea for $5 billion to begin building a concrete wall as part a spending bill to fund part of the government.

Please don't be ignorant. Paul Ryan got Trump to sign the omnibus with a promise of continued wall payments. Paul Ryan lied. Trump learned that verbal agreements don't work in DC.
Then Ryan sat on his arse for a year after resigning giving the gavel to Pelosi.
If Ryan didn't lie we would not be discussing border funding. Paul Ryan is a POS just like the democrats, no?

Why would Trump trust Ryan? Ryan was one of the first people to run away from him during the pussy grabbing fiasco.

Truth of it is that Trump didn’t push for the wall for two years after being elected. He turned down permanent DACA for it and then focused on other stuff. He was still not worried about the wall as recently as late last year until Rush and Ann fired up the base.
He just mishandled it and it’s too late now that Dems have the House.
