I remember Tulsi as a kid sign waving for traditional marriage along Farrington hwy. on Oahu with her dad Mike. He was a fairly conservative leaning pro-family man who later switched parties to advance his political aspirations.
I still smh at how liberal she became socially.

That must have been why nominating leftist republicans like McCain and Romney was so astoundingly successful. This is a conservative/hard right country. For every squishy middle moderate alienated by a conservative, there are 10 conservatives who just walk away when another spineless, leftist Republican is nominated.
