Obviously, nowhere in there is a choice.

There is.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee

Mary could have easily said, “No thank you. I do not wish for the Holy Ghost to come upon me “

God would have respected her lack of consent to not be comed upon.

If not comed upon, God goes to the next on the priority list. Abortion was not on the table.

Here's what you need to know about Talarico....

quote:
James Talarico is a Texas state representative and U.S. Senate candidate (as of 2026) who centers his progressive politics on his Christian faith. An aspiring Presbyterian minister and grandson of a Baptist preacher, he often uses biblical arguments to advocate for policies like LGBTQ+ rights and abortion access, challenging Christian nationalism.

Key Details About James Talarico's Faith and Politics:

Progressive Christianity: Talarico argues that the gospel calls for justice for the marginalized and, as of 2026, has positioned himself as a religious Democrat countering the religious right, advocating for policies he believes reflect "love of neighbor".

Theological Arguments: He has used biblical interpretations to argue that "God is nonbinary" and to suggest that Mary’s story in the Bible affirms consent, a position he has defended in media appearances.

Background: He is a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, having previously worked as a teacher.

Public Profile: He has gained attention for his confrontational yet faith-based approach to politics, including discussions with Joe Rogan and appearances on The Late Show

I can't say this enough.

As an atheist, I cannot believe Christians would allow this to take over their churches. I know progressives have been slowly rooting themselves from the inside, but damn.

You will never see Muslims pervert their religion with progressive filth....

Then again progressives think Muslims should rule over us.

Yeah I don't understand how he comes to his conclusions. With that being said he is a better choice than race baiting Crockett.

Fake Christian.

And I would wager that he has a few skeletons in the closet, perhaps among nightgowns.

If there was any intent to use this scripture to support "pro-choice", seems odd, because God forms the baby in the womb and He would only do so if the answer were in agreement with Him and His will to support this mission on earth. This strange line of reasoning is a type of twisting of scripture, which seems suspiciously occult-like with an intent to lead astray.

That’s like giving a choice between Hitler and Himmler.

Or Himmler and Goebbels.

The demorats in Texas for whatever reason, had to choose between these two.

It’s a choice similar to the New York City mayoral race.

Literally calling good evil, and evil, good.

Apostasy.

This is all foretold. It's happening before our eyes, exactly as written 2,000 years ago.

To those of little or no faith, I implore you to seek the Truth of GOD, and I pray for your enlightenment and salvation. It's all i can do. Whether we recognize it or not, we are ALL brothers and sisters in Christ. The choice we are given, is the choice between believing or rejecting, salvation or damnation.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 states:

"And with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false."

I honestly thought the false prophets would be harder to spot than they are. It’s too easy.
If you know the truth, you are set free from this kind of stuff.

"My sheep know to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice."

True but it is still a choice. Hopefully the good people of Tejas will not pull a Georgia and elect a "moderate" Democrat.

When you are full of Grace or most highly favored abortion doesn't even enter into the equation.

You know who else quoted scripture?
Satan, the deceiver. The only problem was taking it out of context and adding to it.
