I actually like LYFT better than Uber (a bit cheaper), but do you have any evidence that they actually benefited? I think we greatly overrate how my people are actually socially aware, then even consider changing their behavior, then follow through with it.

Smart move Travis, you just saved your cuckass from getting booted by the POTUS, he would have figured out in short order that you have no balls or meaningful input.

And liberals will continues to say Trump is rail roaring things through, while abandoning the post Trump reached out to them to fill.

I'll doubt that EVEN liberals would ever say that.

So if your given the chance to offer a different viewpoint for something people you employee believe in you STEP down rather than use your position to try and help?

How does that help you? Or anyone you employ?

Which is really too bad. He may have had some good ideas to share that would have put people to work.

This will mean the only sorts of folks on these types of committees will be the ones who have frick you money but perhaps not a whole lot of fresh ideas. It would work better with a more diverse group of people.

Kind of a shame.

Oh well.

At least the left can celebrate this as a victory!

So he wanted to help but he was bullied into stepping down. Sounds fantastic.

Very misleading title. He's not stepping down as CEO of Uber.

Lyft probably benefited, because had they not then Uber's CEO wouldn't be stepping down.

For starters, Uber was listed on that stupid #GrabYourWallet campaign that told liberals to boycott businesses supporting Trump. While this happened, Lyft sent out an email to all their users about being "open and welcoming and yada yada yada..." last week.

I'm sure Uber either started to suffer or saw that they would eventually suffer from this.

Your title is still misleading but it was the right decision to step down from the advisory board. If your employees are losing money due to your affiliation with Trump, regardless how you feel, your first priority should be your employees. Tough call either way.

Out of those 200k which had deleted their accounts, wonder how many used it frequently.

It's a business deal. ive only driven about 30 trips over a year of being an approved driver. almost all were minorities, one specifcally was a bleeding heart liberal who was only visiting family after leaving the US to live in Finland, the rest were drunk people leaving the bar.

At the end of his statement he implied a large number of his employees and customers are too stupid to realize that. Of course, they're too stupid to realize that as well.
