Ukraine seems to be ok with bombing cities. Not just active war zones.

I wonder if Vlad launches a couple hundred into Kiev.

Shoe might be a little tight on the other foot.

"We" aren't doing shite. The MIC and grifting politicians are making bank from Ukraine being in a war with Russia.
It will end when gravy train ends.

I've said many times in the past that communism never really died. Nearly everything that happens is predicted before it happens, in a book that was written by a KGB defector to the USA. Russia wants to continue their globalization of the world.

The point is the American people voted for the war to end

I highly doubt that Ukraine was a deciding issue for anyone who voted for Trump. I voted for Trump even though I think it is more likely that Diddy will be found not guilty than Trump will get a peace deal done. Most Americans including myself did not even consider Ukraine when voting.

The whole family is against the war. They are Russian speaking people who've lived in Ukraine for years and years.

Was he fighting for Ukraine?

Stalin, after he had committed genocide on Ukrainians, had an active campaign to Russify and repopulate the void left by his mass murder.

There are many Russians in the Baltic States too, but there is a movement to de-Russify there also. Russia is not happy about it suggesting that they are compelled to protect the Russians there.

Thats not happening, particularly now that Ukraine as ramped up the conflict with intermediate missiles.

Your joy over these Russian bombings just means more dead Ukrainians.

These bombings do not bring me joy. Watching this board melt brings me joy.

Nah, it won't. Read the various white papers produced by governments the last few years. Those governments are preparing for one thing. There is going to be plenty of money to go around. Sorry bub.

I think most of us are fed up with this bullshite and push towards a war that can really escalate into something bad. Maybe it's the Ukraine bros that need the mirror time.

Putin is not gonna stop at Ukraine if he manages to take the whole country. His next target will be Moldova, which isnt a nato country so that wont be the flashpoint, but when hes done with Moldova the next targets on his list will be the former eastern bloc countries like Romania, Lithuania, and Estonia. These are Nato countries so barring his death and a total change of Russian idealogy, Nato will be drawn into war. Might as well try and prevent him from taking all of Ukraine or war is inevitable. His goal is to reestablish the power of the former Soviet Union. He was never concerned about Nato expansion. He knows very well that Nato has no designs or wishes to invade Russia. Nor would they need to be on the Russian border to attack Russia. Nato has plenty of air and naval power. His own actions have driven Ukraine to seek Nato membership and have also driven two countries in Finland and Sweden, who have rebuked Nato membership for many decades, to join the alliance. That in itself contradicts everything Russia claims about Nato expansion. They use these excuses to expand Russia’s reach and territory. Putin’s “red lines” have been crossed time and time again with no response from Russia. Russia’s nuclear threats are empty when it pertains to this conflict. They are not going to use them to strike Nato territory because theyd be signing their own death warrants along with 85% of their population.

I mean, since the end of the CW, we've taken the maximalist approach and we didn't treat Russia any differently. I don't think the security circle is interested in a multi-polar world and will always act to ensure the US is the one who makes the rules others have to live by. That's not anything unusual about human power relations or geopolitics though.

Whether it is arrogance or foresight depends on how long our empire lasts.

Two things

The American model of freedom and democracy has always posed a clunky and hypocritical albatross of taking the necessary steps in maintaining an empire. We have to do the dirty work in secret, and our propaganda is obvious and makes no sense.

It worked for a long time in the multipolar Cold War era because we had good message in contrast to the Soviets and had organic admiration. I just don’t think we can come up with a message that works to maintain a unipolar world order for the reasons I mentioned at the beginning of the post. That is the simple way of putting it.

We need to take the boot off of Europe and allow them to take their own sovereignty more seriously imo. I just don’t see how this can be maintained so why delay the inevitable?

Russia invaded Ukraine in areas that were not in combat-poli board “vlad will be in Kiev in less than a month”

Ukraine causes a stalemate “Ukraine should surrender they can’t win”

Ukraine goes on offensive against their invaders in efforts to gain a little upper hand-poli board “Ukraine is evil putting Russians in harms way!!!”

What a joke. And you wonder why people say y’all are rooting for Putin

Crimea is already part of Russia. The people voted on it.

It was an election that had open ballots, armed soldiers inside the polling places, and no observers. That was not a fair and legit election.

Well then Biden or Trump after 1/20/25 should formally cancel the deal. Until then we honor the deal.
And give them their nukes back? Because without that they have been defrauded.

Yes. Give Ukraine their nukes back or allow them to exit the nonproliferation treaty and build nukes without sanctions.

You probably think being anti-DEI is racist.

First, I'm not liberal or conservative. They are both cut from the same cloth and controlled by the CEO's and banking system. All throughout history, wars have been caused by capitalism. The same process is happening now. You can't be pro capitalist and be anti war. Capitalism creates wars by its natural competitive nature. Communism is just state run capitalism. It's all semantics.
