Being capable of objective thought has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative. Any objective observer can tell that both sides are ramping up the rhetoric to dangerous levels.

Biden told us last night that everyone that voted for Trump in the last election is a threat to democracy. Trump told everyone on Jan 6th that the Democrats stole the election through fraud. It's like they are trying to one-up each other. They make everything an us vs them argument. Meanwhile, they both actively erode our civil liberties, increase the size and scope of gov't, and spend us into oblivion.

He is legit dangerous.

The kind of person who would have no qualms about turning you or your family over to the state for "re-education" and or execution.

Not hyperbole, don't doubt it for a minute.

Now we know what the 80,000 armed IRS agents are for. Republicans better make sure taxes are paid and be ready for a nasty audit. THATS what the additional agents are for. What bastards.

That would be interesting. My Paw Paw was a stone cold Dem and loved Reagan. That changed my Dad into a Republican.

He was unendingly excoriated. The difference was the scope of what was considered "the press" then versus now.

That was certainly not a speech designed to unite Americans.

I guess he was hoping to fire up his base.

and maintaining our position as the best country in the world

Your fallacious assumption, n14, IMO, is that the Left does not want our Country to be the best in the World. This Nation has been like a 'gated community' wherein prosperity, security and a unified citizenry existed. Mostly White from the Founding. The Left seeks to destroy this Nation as they believe it to be evil/selfish/racist from it's Founding. That is the essentially basis of the CRT at the core of Leftist Ideology and "fundamental change".

"By their fruits ye will know them"; look at the policies: Open Border with welfare to all comers and armed IRS agents to tax citizens who must pay for their luxuries. Open prisons and lawless streets. Leftist indoctrination via Academia and Schoolsl Destruction of the Private Economy with unlimited 'Stimulus'/Omnibus spending and a soon to be Digital Currency accompanied with Social Credit Scores like the CCP. Blatant corruption and criminality in the highest Institutions of Government (Deep State Bureaucracy) which essentially nullifies any and even "70-30%" vote.

One may be "unemotional", but that is no virtue, or even common-sense strategy. If a grizzly bear is prowling your property, there is no middle ground response other than to meet aggression in kind. Sabre rattling might work, but like you point out "the move divided we become".

"Middle"? Is there a Middle in China, NK, Venezuela or any Totalitarian Fascist State? Fascism being defined as State control of Everything. Once the Digital Currency is employed along with 'Social Credit Scores' there will be no Middle or any opposition to the Totalitarian Fascist State. This should be obvious, if one can bear the truth of it.

This ship has sailed. There are no political solutions. The Left will assure that as they implement Fascism via the above policies. This is my "unemotional" take.

I didn’t think clinton was hated too badly either. Bush seemed to be where the left and right started making a real to push to demonize each other on a more personal level Vs policies.

Exactly. The only craziness with Clinton was he was banging employees at work.

Wasted breath (typing).

Celtic is a (D)-hadist.

The grooming of children is so important to him that he will support this evil no matter what.

You could show him authentic video of Joe Biden molesting children and he would ignore it.

It's who he is.

It's who they are.

A person (ish), his position (installed) and speech (slurred and unhinged) can be disturbing and scary without actually “scaring” the targets of the speech. I’m not scared of Biden or anyone else. Romans 8:28 is instructive.

That doesn’t make the whole charade acceptable to Americans. Or any freedom-loving person.

One party is trying to end free speach and that same party is trying to end the 2nd amendment. That is the ONLY party fighting against the constitution.

Who exactly is doing this on the right though? Which right leaning political leaders are saying things remotely comparable to what the President of the United States did last night?
