Beloved people of Iran, my courageous compatriots,
Over the past two weeks—especially in the last four days—you have shaken the foundations of the illegitimate Islamic Republic through massive, nationwide demonstrations. Now, relying on your overwhelming response to the recent calls, and with the public mandate I have received from you, I am announcing a new phase of the national uprising to overthrow the Islamic Republic and reclaim our beloved Iran.
1. Inside Iran: In addition to taking and holding the central streets of our cities, all institutions and apparatuses responsible for the regime’s propaganda and for cutting communications are to be regarded as legitimate targets. Employees of state institutions, as well as members of the armed and security forces, have a choice: stand with the people and become allies of the nation, or choose complicity with the murderers of the people—and bear the nation’s lasting shame and condemnation.
2. Outside Iran: All Iranian embassies and consulates belong to the Iranian people. The time has come for them to be adorned with Iran’s national flag, in place of the disgraceful banner of the Islamic Republic.
We stand on the threshold of reclaiming our beloved Iran from the Islamic Republic. Khamenei and his regime have already suffered several heavy blows at your hands, and we must not allow them a moment to recover. The regime faces a severe shortage of forces of repression; the increase in gunfire against the people is not a sign of strength, but of fear—fear of collapse and an accelerated downfall. We will not allow these criminals to spill any more of our young people’s blood. We will not give them that chance. We will not retreat.
Iran’s freedom is near. The blood shed by Iran’s immortal sons and daughters guides our path to toward victory. We are not alone. International support will soon arrive. Standby for my next messages. Very soon, we will reclaim our beloved Iran back from the Islamic Republic, and celebrations of freedom and victory will fill every corner of our country.

Iran has reached a point of no return
When everyday people are showing up, in numbers, to exact revenge on IRGC officers there's no going back... for either side.
Assuming these reports are accurate it tells us two things:
1. The IRGC is unable to protect itself due to manpower shortages.
2. The military is not picking up the slack.
Which then poses two follow up questions that intel (Mossad, CIA, or 5-eyes) needs to answer and answer quickly:
For #1: Is the lack of manpower of the IRGC due to them concentrating that manpower in bases OR is it due to desertions/mutinies?
For #2: If the military is not picking up the slack is that because the IRGC doesn't trust them to provide IRGC security OR have they already turned against the IRGC?
If both the second options after my 'or' are the case we should hold off on any intervention whatsoever because the conditions exist for the theocracy (still not a guarantee) to fall and fall soon.
The blowback potential for any intervention, even if limited to assassinations from air, is that it could form a nucleus around which the military will 'make up' with the regime and IRGC when a foreign enemy attacks sacred Persian soil.

?That father figure who sits there with arrogance and pride, passing judgment on the entire world, he too should know that usually the tyrants and oppressors of the world, such as Pharaoh and Nimrod and Reza Khan and Mohammad Reza and the likes of them, when they were at the peak of their pride, were overthrown,
?This one too will be overthrown.

There will still be kill squads going after the protestors unless the leaders are taken out
That’s a double edged sword.
At this point the regime is spread paper thin, as this revolution is nationwide, not just localized in Tehran or a few large metropolis’s it’s taking place in every marketplace and bazaar, wherever Iranians gather as a society.

Anni Cyrus on the escalating #IranRevolution (Jan 2026): A high-ranking IRGC figure—higher than a general, a key "right-hand man"—has been taken out in a precise, first-shot assassination!
Cyrus emphasizes: Trained militias from Iranian tribes like the Qods, Torks (likely Turks/Azeris), and Lurs have been preparing for YEARS. These are NOT jihadists or separatists—they're proud Iranians defending their homeland, ready to eliminate IRGC generals and heads when the call comes!
This comes amid ongoing nationwide uprisings: Regime symbols torched, defections rising, and now targeted strikes on top oppressors. The mullahs' grip is slipping fast—the people are rising, organized, and lethal!
Take everything with a grain of salt, particularly with a state implemented blackout, but there is hundreds of moving parts that we just aren’t privy too.

#Israel opens bomb shelters in Gush Dan metropolitan area, which includes Tel Aviv
Kann News:
"Shelters in Tel Aviv have been opened due to the possibility of an Iranian response to an upcoming U.S. strike'
The Israeli security establishment estimates that any Iranian response to a U.S. attack would include launching ballistic missiles into Israel."
Multiple U.S. KC-135R Stratotankers and B-52 bombers have departed from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in recent hours.
At least one tanker is currently airborne at 23,975 ft and 406 knots.
U.S. drones are also operating close to Iranian airspace.

The IRGC is the primary military which serves more than on purpose. The regular army is twice as large. IRGC is much more well equiped.
Now what the Islamic regime does is hire mercenaries from outside of Iran. Syria is no longer available as a source such as in 2009. Even many in the IRGC won't shoot at their fellow countrymen

Per a friend with many biz contacts there, a large segment doesn't want outside intervention. As far as blowback otherwise, MEH

Iran’s digital blackout has now deployed military jammers to shut down access to Starlink. “Despite reports that tens of thousands of Starlink units are operating inside Iran, the blackout has also reached satellite connections. It is reported that about 30% of Starlink’s uplink and downlink traffic was initially disrupted, quickly rising to more than 80%,” according to the Iranian opposition news website IranWire.
