I get the strong sense that people don’t understand what populism is at its core. Liberals look at it like fascism and forget that Teddy Roosevelt was a populist, hated by the establishment republicans, who was a pretty damn good president. I think it’s safe to say that this is the closest we have come to the likes of TR in over 100 years

Conservatives are extinct. Republicans have abandoned everything that made their party great. Half of the leadership of the GOP throughout the country is made up of former Democrats, like Trump.
