Who cares the timeline of all the deals, they are all paying tariffs while the meter runs.

Deals, regardless of the tariff amount, signals certainty. Currently, July 9 is when the reciprocal tariffs are re-imposed unless there is another extension. While the market appreciates extensions, it still doesn't give the same level of certainty that an announced "deal" does.
So, it is imperative to get these deals done as soon as possible.

I imagine that is what is happening. Low labor costs, and VN doesn't grow much cotton, and I read it is not good quality.
Not sure what tariffs are for their other cotton suppliers, I guess this might increase demand for US cotton.
I'm from the Midwest, but if I was from the South, I think the next thing I'm supposed to say is "What will this do to the price of crawfish?" Did I get that right? :)
