Concessions to whom? Democrats giving concessions to other Democrats?

There were zero concessions to the GOP.
Zip!
Nada!
Not one single concession to the GOP.
Dems took their filibuster-proof Congressional majorities and rammed that POS down America's throat.

The GOP was not even involved in the dialogue.

Not a single GOP vote was sought. Not a single GOP vote was gained. No concession ITR was required. No concession was rendered.

There's a lot more red states than blue states. Game on.

But Abigail is a moderate, you see. And the dude who wanted to kill republican children was just taken out of context.

Oh and frick you, Indiana, and especially Mike Pence

Republicans just had a chance to do this in Indiana and they chose not to.

Which is in our best interest. You can’t continue to coexist with evil. Bring this to a conclusion either through the national divorce (unlikely) or bloodshed.

Republicans need to understand the concept I learned in middle school. "Screw them BEFORE they get a chance to screw you"

The GOP could own the house if they reciprocated

Reciprocated? The GOP started this with Texas under Trump's command. The Dems surprisingly decided to fight fire with fire, rather than bend over and spread their cheeks, like usual.

Your starting point for “started this” is a joke.

Why is that? I’m not familiar with the sentiment on this…

What would be the rationale?

They don’t want a candidate or a movement in power that is a threat to their grift. Whereas a Democrat majority is not ideal for RINOS and establishment Republicans, it is still a heap more profitable and a known than having a Republican in office who is trying to do the true will of the people. I would bet my bottom dollar that well over 50% of GOP congressmen and their families voted against Trump, probably up around 75%.

I can understand the confusion due to how the issue was framed and covered by the media.

Gerrymandering has been standard practice for blue states for decades.

Look at Illinois: the entire state outside of the Chicago metroplex is red. It’s akin to Georgia in relation to Atlanta. Of their 17 house districts how many Republican congressmen are there? 3. Proportionally there should’ve been 7-8.

The same thing is true of the northeast. Look at Massachusetts, NJ and many others.

A national redistricting that created a truly representative district map would turn Congress on its head. In reality the DNC is over represented in the house due to the GOP being hamstrung from reciprocating as a result of the civil rights act in the bright red Deep South ensuring blacks had representation even while ignoring whites and republicans losing representation in other parts of the country.

Good. Trump wanted a redistricting fight. Dem's should push it as hard as they can.

I’m going to do some research on this, and come back to post my findings. I’m not 100% certain, but I’m leaning towards your timeline here being WILDLY off.

Well it looks like Mike Pence has come out as against the SAVE act. Rationale being it’s a States Rights issue.

But RINO needs to be redefined. MAGA is a populist movement that doesn’t conform to the same principles of conservatism as the GOP.

It’s essentially a different philosophy. A different political party.

Cool then states can lower the voting age, require a competency test, etc. After all it’s a state’s rights issue?
