I thought Trump was a near lock to win at the time of the Oct 7th attack.

I was about 60% confident. But God knows what the Hezbollah leadership thought. ETA: (I should have written “Hamas”

I honestly don’t think it entered their calculations.

My view on it is that Hamas moved early, or earlier than was originally planned, and that there was likely meant to be attacks by 3-4 proxies at the same time on multiple different fronts.

This is essentially what Iran has and had been spending all its money on for close to 20 + years now all to encircle Israel. Hamas fricked it up though imo, and no matter if they were allowed in by Israel or not, had they done something coordinated with Hezbollah (who is far more of an actual organization and military with actual command and control and discipline, well before the whole pager thing) Israel would’ve suffered massively higher casualties especially if coordinated with bombings from Yemen, Missiles from Iran, and getting another force to attack southern Israel through Africa.

The Boat understands the reality of Israeli depravity to let their citizens be killed as a pretext to annihilate the enemy.

It doesn't matter. The same thing has been said about the U.S., President Roosevelt, and the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Roosevelt knew of the upcoming bombing and allowed it to bring the US into WW2.
All that really matters is the end result. Nazis vanquished, Iran in the beginning stages of changing into a post Nazi Germany.

Iran and Nazi Germany were in alliance in WW2, is this the last remnant?

I think the US should declare victory for Israel and then tell Netanyahu and Ben Gvir to frick off . He got what he wanted. US should tell him PAID IN FULL. Any more shite, you're on your own.

I think what October 7 did was 100% convince the Jews and Americans that the undeniable fact that war with radical Islam is inevitable so why not start now? What Iran must do is not allow radical Islamist to retake their country. Islam is a cancer that is trying to take over the world slowly, but surely with the goal of eliminating Westerners and instituting Sharia law worldwide. They are like the terminator. They will never stop coming. They will never go away and we must eventually defeat them because we cannot coexist.

How many conspiracy theories have been posted about Mossad orchestrating the attacks as an excuse to kill Palestinians?

was Charlie Kirk who suggested Israel had a stand down order.

He was spitballing on the PBD podcast a day after the attacks, he had no knowledge of anything. Just like everyone else, he was shocked at the security failure. The same thing happened to us on 9/11.

I doubt Hamas expected immediate victory with Oct. 7. They’re in it for the long haul. They’re not disarmed this point.

Like Pearl Harbor, it was tactically brilliant. Hamas achieved total strategic and tactical surprise on the Israelis. Hell, more people should have been killed actually. If those few units don't hold that highway, Hamas had a clear shot to Tel Aviv with no resistance.

However, it was a huge blunder strategically. Just like Pearl Harbor. It woke up Isreal and forced the leadership to re-evaluate everything.

Hamas, along with Gaza and its people, have been reduced to dust and ruble. Sorry your team lost in this one. Better luck next time champ.

Why don’t you “spitball” it dumbass…. Why does it take the most secure/militarized country on earth 7 hours to respond to an attack?

Your argument is that Charlie Kirk was “spitballing”

Truth is truth and irrefutable truth is irrefutable.

On the surface, I get what you’re saying, but we’re dealing with radical jihadi’s whose sole purpose is to inflict damage on their enemies and to reap their rewards in the afterlife.
Given Russia attacking Ukraine a year before, China likely planning their Taiwan campaign, and the 3 being loose allies, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a blunder as much as a thwarted tactic due to DJT resuming office.

Like someone else said, these frickers play the long game. Take 9/11 for instance. After we went into Afghanistan in response and laid seize to Al-Qaeda, one could argue at the time they F’d up and we crippled their operations. Fast forward 25 years and you have a Muslim mayor of NYC and a daily call to prayer by the Muslim residents in Time Square.
Guess we didn’t win that one, right?
