Make no mistake, that is the plan. They want to rule over the rubble

Dem’s favorite character on Game of Thrones:

If they took power and enough of them got a “no borders” bill going all of them would fall in line behind and push it through.
Nope. They had majorities in the House, the Senate, and had the White House in 2009-2010. The candidate Baraaq said “comprehensive immigration reform” would be a priority for his administration, but they didn’t do jack squat. The truth is that the dimocratix don’t want to “solve” immigration/border questions. It is more beneficial to them keep the issue alive for campaigning and collecting donations.

That is what foreign aid is. Doesn’t work.
Foreign shitholes are not our responsibility.
Where in the constitution does it say that the Federal Government can make me pay taxes to fix the problems in some other country.
Read the Constitution. The soultion is addressed therein. Trump is doing what he took an oath to do. Your best idea is not only a endless drain on our resources but is without any support whatsoever in our Constitution.

No...
The point is we should not be spending our tax money to fix the problems of other countries.
That is welfare on the grandest scale and has so many negative consequences that I could spend hours typing out.
The solution is simple. Enforce our borders.

They always say "reform" on any topic.
"We need
Gun
Mental health
Immigration
Health care coverage
ICE agency
Union law
EPA
BLAH BLAH BLAH
reform in order to bring Americans together on these important issues."
They never propose anything or bring any solutions. They only create discord and use American people (Ford, accusers, #metoo, Antifa, BLM, Feminists, SJWs) to do their dirty work for them.

until he described the details of what he wanted. He wanted to perform a background check on everyone at the border, and if they are not a violent criminal or terrorist, they should be allowed in. No limits. The only people who would ever be deported were criminals and those who snuck across the border because they couldn't pass the background check.
Hell, we'd have 90% of third world people and 50% of Mexico here in six months if that were the case. I don't think he thought that all the way through.

They have no solution. They see an opportunity to replenish their voter stock. The left doesn’t give a flip about the “immigrants” - only their votes.

What immigration reform do you propose?
Why do we need immigration reform? Seriously.
But I guess if we need to "reform" immigration it would be appropriate to say that whether to grant permanent resident or work status should depend upon the totality of the circumstances. We can then make a list of considerations which include practical considerations, such as special skills or value, demonstrated work history, fulfilling a labor need which is unfilled, etc., and a list of humanitarian considerations, such as family ties to people already here, circumstances of whether there is anywhere to send them, etc.
That would provide the flexibility to be as responsive as we need to be while protecting American labor and professions.

Which is? Do you actually know what the law is for immigrants to get into the country legally. Something tells me you don't but I'm listening.
Is this the immigration Bar Exam?
Why on Earth would I spend my time blocking and copying standards from federal laws and regulations? Talk about stupidity. This is another example why there is no real discussion in about 99% of all topics here.

2 words that should never appear in the same sentence: reasonable and Democrat.
Impossibility of occurrence. Reasonable and Democrat are mutually exclusive unless one is referring to a corpse. All those dead people voting Dem are the only reasonable Dems.

Democrats support open borders. They don't view criminal foreign alien scum hopping our borders as a crime, which is why they no longer refer to them as "illegal aliens" and instead call them "undocumented migrants." Remember, it was June of this year where all 49 Democrat Senators signed on to a bill that would prohibit arrests within 100 miles of the border.

The way I see it, if you have a (D) next to your name, you are attempting to dissolve our national sovereignty which makes you an enemy of the state. We used to know how to deal with traitor scum (a short drop, if you'll excuse my parlance.)

I’m being pragmatic.
On paper I agree with you all. We’ve got our own problems. Stop them at the wall with a division of National Guard soldiers if needed.
In reality, that isn’t ever going to happen.
