When people see Newsome on stage vs. Vance in a debate, it'll be pretty obvious. Vance would have hundreds of facts, figures, and examples of Newsome's unworthiness of the office.

Hell, all he has to do is ask Newsome about the high speed rail system and where the $15 billion went considering it was projected to cost a total of $30 billion and not one segment has even been completed in almost 20 years.
In 1960, most people who listened to the Nixon–Kennedy debate on radio thought Nixon won on substance. People who watched it on television thought Kennedy won. Same answers. Same “facts and figures.” Different medium.

Most people won't be listening to the debate on the radio in 2028.

The Iowa poll by Ann Selzer. Everyone knew it was a garbage poll and it proved to be a garbage poll.

Yep, and she was forced to apologize.

I'd say it's crazy how so many people on here want to cry about that one poll any time something is posted that doesn't meet what their beliefs are, but I shouldn't be so surprised by it.

They won't break down these polls by gender, because women will vote for Gavin based on looks alone.

I’ve said it on here for the past year.

Newsome is a legit threat. Smooth talker. He’ll win over the low info voters and those who vote with their ears.

Shouldn’t be possible with his record. But people are stupid (See NYC).

I don’t like Newsom, but this wouldn’t surprise me. Trump is historically unpopular and only going down in approvals. JD Vance is also one of the least charismatic and likable figures in politics right now. I think he’ll be an easy win against the right Dem candidate. Rubio would be far more dangerous for Dems.

He just said that he relates to black people because like them he is illiterate and not very intelligent. I really hope he is the nominee

Maybe the fact that all polls are
biased in favor of Democrats

Every time. You cheated in the Covid Election.

You know it. You won’t ever admit it
but you know it.

You are going to lose the next one too.

Unless you have a new Covid type
response planned which I think you
do.

Good Luck

I do agree Shapiro is probably "too pro-America" for your average activist Democrat Primary voter.

I don’t think Shapiro has the juice. He’s got the appeal of a local rep at H&R Block. He’s a solid operator but not a top ticket guy in my estimation.

It’s so far away that it could be a dark horse candidate emerges. Someone on the periphery of the national scene that galvanizes Dems/Independents.

Heck I’m not sure if Vance will even be the guy. I think he’s smart but not likable enough to be the guy. His biggest tailwind is his fundraising capabilities.

Legit question?

You people are idiots if you can't see that suburban housewives are going to vote for him in droves. It's going to be close to impossible for Republicans to run a candidate that will beat him in a national election.

You really overestimate the general intelligence of the American population.
