When Cruz said that Trump’s Muslim ban was unAmerican. Up to that point, I was going back and forth between the two. After that, I realized that Cruz was just another globalist who didn’t understand the primary national security threat to the United States, just better at the Jesus speak than the rest. Fully Trump after that point.

When he won the nomination. I always vote against democrats to loose. This year though I will be voting for Trump because I’ve grown to really like him as my president.

If didn’t take long. I can only listen to liberal media elites and fake conservatives tell me that he isn’t the right guy to figure out , holy shite, this is the perfect guy. He has since backed it up.

This is a two pronged question.

I knew I'd be voting for whomever opposed Hillary no matter what.

But, I didn't support Trump in the primaries until after the Chicago event was cancelled due to leftist violence and EVERY frickING OTHER Republican candidate didn't have the balls to place the blame squarely where it belonged and instead, parroted the absurd idea that assaulting Trump supporters was somehow the fault of Trump.

I have supported Trump for POTUS for a few decades. I’ve always paid attention to what he has said politically as he appeared on talk shows and public events. His views have aligned very well with mine over the years. I was thrilled the night he and his magnificent wife came down that escalator in Trump Tower.

When he got the Republican nomination.

THIS. At the time, he wasn't my 1st choice in the Republican primary, but in the general election I was given 4 choices. Stay at home, the R, the D, and one of the others who have no chance of winning. In the end, you know either the R or the D will win. Of the 2 (Hillary and Trump), Trump was far and away, the least objectionable choice.

Since his inauguration, Trump has convinced me that he was an even better choice than the person I supported until the primary would have been.
