Lack of father figures and discipline and the results isn’t specific to race. But the prevalence is tied to it.

you got 30 years on the dude what are you scared of?
But in this case, the two seem to have been about evenly-matched in size. Advantage, younger guy.

All I know is right now I'm watching Rocky while waiting for the exterminator to show up. In the scene where Rocky is on the news using the beef as a punching bag the guy that trains Apollo says he should "come take a look at this boy he's about to fight".
I know, for some reason, it's been deemed a racial thing, but people call people "boy" all the time without it having anything to do with race.
Eta: they just started the main fight at the end and the ring announcer called both fighters "boy". He said "you boys know the rules". Man, there's racism everywhere. Are they going to cancel Rocky? Maybe they already have.

Very common on TD, but it's spelled different.

Ol boy shoulda known better. Its hard out here on an old pudgy assed racist....they want to profit from the current environment where they see others saying and doing whatever happens to enter their sick minds but they just do not have the physical wherewithal to do so without running the risk of getting that arse kicked....dude shouldn't have hit him but old dude shoulda kept his fricking mouth shut...

The same word can have different meanings in different contexts. Sometimes, one of them is insulting and the other is not.

What a piece of shite you are
been seeing assholes screaming at people for months just to goad them into an assault charge, NOW mere words justify assault

His tone was obviously insulting. And it still doesn’t justify the black guy hitting him. That’s not the social contract. If we can hit people whose words anger us, society descends into chaos. It’s the ultimate form of entitlement.

Yeah. No one believed that.

What indication is there that the location's patrons are disadvantaged??? Oh...never mind...there were black people in the store so it has to be in a disadvantaged neighborhood. I get where you got that now...
Judging by the products in the store I would say it is a typical convenience store...could be in a very upscale neighborhood by any indication. Of course the black people being present indicates otherwise to folks bent that way....sad.

Obviously there are exceptions propane hank. Come on dude.......
IN GENERAL you have nothing to worry about. In this exact example, home BOY had nothing to worry from the angry he hasn’t gotten laid in a decade grandpa.

You’re better than this propane hank.

Seriously, I was an offensive lineman in HS, and I have kept in decent shape. I certainly have not shrunk. I am a big guy. What is the big deal about that?
Nothing. Just another example of some folks (our resident stoner) feeling an uncontrollable need to argue with ANYTHING I say. sad.

quote:So the other guy should assume he's unarmed because why?
An unarmed old man walking up to you isn’t threatening
Honest question, do you think it's a good idea to assume someone is unarmed in a heated exchange like that?
quote:Exactly
white, black, yellow, orange, doesn’t matter
quote:Assuming you'll just be able to win a fight at any point in time so that makes it ok to put your guard down is never a good idea.
you got 30 years on the dude what are you scared of?
quote:I don't know what story that is.
Same goes for the white bubba who shot the black begger in BR. What are you scared of an old man for?
quote:I never said he "charged" but he 100% did approach him in a threatening manner. Just by nature of the heated argument, the distance they were from each other, then 1 guy approaches the other directly...I don't see how there's any way to logically argue that was NOT him approaching the other dude in a threatening manner.
But hey, the old man “charged” him

There is no right to NOT be offended.
