She did Comic Relief on HBO in the 80s with Billy Crystal and Robin Williams, prior to revealing how left edge she is, and was funny. Not as funny as her co-hosts, but that’s a high bar.

I thought she was okay in star trek... but that wasn't a comedic role. I agree that she's not funny, though.. growing up I saw several of her movies and at no point did I lol at her.

I’m calling cultural appropriation… her birth name is Caryn Johnson. She has said in numerous interviews that she chose Goldberg as her last name because a Jewish last name could help her in her showbiz career.
