Everyone I can think of that I know is at the very least somewhat odd. Most, if not all, if you were to have a conversation with them without even speaking politics, you could venture an educated guess that they're liberal. There definitely are commonalities between all of them.

How do you justify your political affiliation knowing that at the core of the Democratic Party...
Why do you assume I'm affiliated with the Democratic Party?

Ok, cool. Let us know when you want to have an honest discussion.

First of all, I wasn't talking to you as you weren't the one that asked the "serious question". But if you want to stick your nose in it, what have I posted to indicate that I am a member of the Democratic Party?
If you're going to make an accusation, please have the courtesy to back it up with something.

an honest discussion
Is that what you call making wild, unsupported accusations? That is the epitome of making a strawman. You build up this image in your mind, and when I don't fit it, you accuse ME of being insincere.
It would be funny if it didn't seem so psychotic.

Hard times create strong men,
Strong men create good times,
Good times create weak men,
Weak men create hard times.

It’s hard to understand how really anyone could be a liberal but especially a white male as you are within the group they hate the most.
Social acceptance.
The left made it bad to be straight white male. So, the only way to gain social acceptance in their peer group is to be a raging liberal or part of a minority class (LGBTQi+_Iljosijljjnonou). You can't be black. You can't be Latino. Its liberal or gay or the hills.

Gee, why would anyone assume you're a democrat? Hmm.
So here's where you nuance and pretend like you're an independent or socialist or whatever. Read your post history. You're a leftist. Acceptance is the first step.

White male liberals are pussies. That's all there is to it.

They are either true believers or gigantic hypocrites

Yeah, I thought you were just pushing bullshite.
And, I already explained it earlier. Read.

Most of the liberal men I know are simply confident enough in their own abilities that they don't feel as threatened as most of the so-called conservative posters on this board.

It’s mostly just guys that are hell bent on being different than everyone they grew up with.

They are weak minded pussies.

I have. Please select from it to support your position.
That no one has yet is rather telling. I'm not saying there aren't any liberal positions, but there are conservative positions as well.
quote:
pretend like you're an independent
When I registered to vote in 1984, I was warned that if I registered as an independent, they would put me in the Independent Party. So I indicated "n/a", and haven't changed it since. Nor have I ever voted for a Democrat or Republican for President. When it comes to statewide/local elections, I tend to vote D for executive and R for legislative and judicial - but I do NOT vote for judges. I've probably voted for more Republican mayors than Democrat legislators, though.
I've never liked Joe Biden, and I've never liked Donald Trump. I've never liked Mitch McConnell, and I've never liked Nancy Pelosi. And I've remained consistent with my dislike of these people. I don't flip-flop around like so many here have done with McConnell, Bush, and Sessions.
But what I'd ultimately like to understand is, why is it so important to be pigeonholed into one box or the other before people can actually talk about issues? Can't issues stand on their own without having to be associated with a political party?
