Whatchu talking about Willis?
It's kind of an open secret same way everybody knew Sylvester Turner was gay
everybody knows that Michael Berry like to troll gay bars and hook up with mocha trannies
And I'm not just referring to the time he was chased from a gay bar when he was recognized and ran into about 11 cars

Tucker is the closest, but Rush was literally irreplaceable.

Rush did humor, satire, parodies, he was trying to entertain while making a point.
True - Rush was like a combination of a really good morning/drivetime zoo with William F. Buckley's politics and rapier sharp wit.

IMO, there is no one within five car lengths of Rush's formerly nicotine stained hands.
Mark Steyn could probably get within two car lengths if his heart was in it.

Mark Steyn would have been a great successor but frivolous lawsuits and health issues have slowed him down a bit.
As others have pointed out, there will not be another Rush. Due to his abilities and the changes in the media formats.

There is no Rush Limbaugh today.
I was recommended to listen to Rush a very long time ago - the reason was that he was good at explaining various things. He was. He would give you a ten second understanding of a CR and how it's different from a full on budget; or about senate confirmations etc. Rush was a quick civics lesson on a lot of topics.
As I listened to him, I found his predictions pretty good. He'd say, "folks, now listen to me on this, Democrats are going to do x y z and if Republicans are not ready for this, they're going to be on the back foot' and x y z would then happen.
Rush was funny and he had energy. When the opening to his show played you knew he would be energetic, would cover a ton of topics, and he'd have some humor. He was entertaining.
Rush could be serious as well. I still remember hearing Ann Coulter sound the alarm on a budget issue that Trump was prepared to sign and it would have been disastrous. She was on with Mark Simone iirc. She was emphatic about this and talked about how some people in the WH were blocking things from getting to Trump. This was early morning east coast time. By noon, the first thing Rush led with was this budget bill issue and he sounded the alarm. His callers melted down the WH switchboard and finally word got to Trump, because of Rush.

No. He is a guy with common sense - I would love to listen to some liberal podcasts but they are all the exact same thing. Trump bad - not a single one of their shows has any substance what so ever about actual news. It’s all TDS feelings - at least this MAGA podcaster actually reports on the fricking news

Entirely wrong vibe, was a Tucker fan, but that hideous laugh and the guy just doesn't connect the dots. I'll take Guttfeld any day.

Andrew Wilkow on Sirius, in the 12-3pm time slot weekdays. He has also done stints with various tv news; currently with Salem News Network.
He’s good at assessing the constitutionality of various topics, and can provide a comprehensive layman’s perspective.

No one is like Rush. He was in a league of his own.

Rush was a voice "crying in the wildernes." Today, there is not one single person that is telling American exactly what is going on in that cesspool called Washington. That is very good news for the country.
The libs lost their stranglehold on the news or their perverted narrative of it. More and more people are waking up to the truth that dem party has gone fullblown perverse and lunatic. They are losing their so-called control of the black vote and more and more Hispanics are turning away from their party. Now that Musk is destroying the liberal piggybanks they are going to be in deep doodoo for a long time.

Fair enough.
How about a goal of finding someone who you might consider not conservative or liberal?
Maybe someone with no tribal agenda, other than the American citizen tribe? I think they're out there, but one has to be able to listen to some criticism of your own tribe (if you're a tribe member). That's really hard for a lot of people, as such hard lines have been reinforced in our country.
My first suggestion for common sense would be Dave Smith. HIs podcast is called Part of the Problem.
There are also some that present both sides of the argument in a mostly civil manner, and even suggest a third side.

Tucker on the free thinker side
While on the comedy side, Greg Gutfeld.
It is bad when you need two people to cover one man’s talent.

first met Rush when he was still in Sacramento very smart man great personality but it was entertainment
even he reminded his audience when he became huge he was entertainment... he wasn't as Conservative as his audience but he knew his audience and played to it
I don’t think this analysis is exactly correct. I don’t doubt he may have played a lot of things up for effect, but I don’t believe he actually said things he didn’t believe.
