There’s always been a couple old people in congress, but Trump was the oldest president ever elected until Biden was “elected”. Pelosi is in her 80s. The republicans tend to be a lot younger than the democrats in congress and on the courts, but it’s absurd how old are current leadership is. All these people are going to be dead before the next decade and are the ones making the decisions. People are fully justified in complaining about that

I almost never see Facebook and am still going to work 4 days a week for the next couple of months when I will be retiring to start a new business. I am considering the possibility of working a few hours per week so I can continue as one director of a regional Planning Commission Organization. I’m not angry about any of that. I’m not even angry, only perplexed by the insistence of some boomers to accept zero responsibility for the role they’ve played in crippling this nation. Why does it matter? My father (and grandfathers) all did very well for themselves, I told them I’d be happy if they left nothing as they’ve paid for my education and instilled values that are priceless. They are appreciative of my take, but know that they’ve sacrificed to make sure my family will never go without as I will to my kids and grandkids. I’ll pass the same mindset along that you need to make your own but I’ll leave you one step ahead. It’s generational thinking and it’s not for everyone. As my late grandfather said “why can’t everyone just mind their own damn business”

I think your a leftist because you believe that ones lot in life is determined by anyone other than themselves.
Personal responsibility goes a long way. I’m not even 40 yet and just accepting responsibility for your own actions for your lot in life clarifies who you can become as a good person.
