And you have a problem with this, why? I earned the it and have the right to spend it however I would like. I don't plan on spending my golden years sitting home waiting for my number to be called. I plan on getting out and enjoying life for as long as I can.

My brothers and I told my parents to spend their money how they fricken wanted to. To not think they had to leave us a bundle of money. It’s their money. Live like they want. We are building our own retirement.

Now to the OP.....why would you want your parents to leave you wealth instead of enjoying themselves? I told mine, if they leave me and my kids more than enough to pay for the funeral and any bills.....i will be furious.
