I’m not angry about any of that. I’m not even angry, only perplexed by the insistence of some boomers to accept zero responsibility for the role they’ve played in crippling this nation.
Thats it. You are too stupid to continue. Have a good holler, BOY.

Maybe one day you will gain the wisdom so completely lacking. Look up stoicism - it would do you good.

In the meantime you will likely enjoy some of the things I have created in MY LIFE at some point.

Agreed. You hear that, boomers?

Your assumptions about me are incorrect.

Squandering wealth and ensuring his family never escapes the poverty cycle is more like it. Good luck to him and may he enjoy every dime.

As are mine. They didn’t squander their wealth on useless trinkets or blame the children they raised for the ills of the country. They would rightfully call out their peers in this thread for their ridiculous blame shifting.

My family seems to be an outlier based on this thread because each generation has invested heavily in the next going back to when my ancestors were the first to have a cotton gin in Louisiana.

Selfish and entitled choice but it's his. And he earned so if he wants to smoke em while he's got em. Go for it I guess.

And you have a problem with this, why? I earned the it and have the right to spend it however I would like. I don't plan on spending my golden years sitting home waiting for my number to be called. I plan on getting out and enjoying life for as long as I can.

Hilarious how they are griping about this.

My brothers and I told my parents to spend their money how they fricken wanted to. To not think they had to leave us a bundle of money. It’s their money. Live like they want. We are building our own retirement.

I can’t stand some entitled frick with no savings or retirement who has to drive a BMW and wants their parents to bail them out when they die.

It's funny millennials think "boomers" have so much to leave.

Most "boomers" will work till they die.

Very few people leave this world, debt free.

I have given my "20 somethings" enough.

Americans have taken dividing to a "whole notha level".

bitch get the frick out with this shite. Boomers are the reason we are in the position we are in. Boomers have been in power for 30+ years now. frick the boomers, nothing but a legacy of inflation and war.

Now to the OP.....why would you want your parents to leave you wealth instead of enjoying themselves? I told mine, if they leave me and my kids more than enough to pay for the funeral and any bills.....i will be furious.

Not sure all my siblings feel that away but the saying that was posted about those that need it are not responsible and those that are responsible dont need it....applies here.

Its there money, spend the shite.

Baby boomers are a very selfish generation, just spend some time around them and it’s obvious. Plus look where they’ve taken our country. Just sad considering what they inherited

BS. Many Boomers spoiled their children. And who believes that Boomers even knew or would agree with the Marxist Indoctrination that surreptitiously creeped into Academia and 'educated' their children.

And "inherited"...what percent of Boomers did not work for their whole life, and pay taxes into a Government System which promised ("Lock Box") that their taxes would be responsibly utilized and those 'promises' honored? We naively trusted Politicos, until we realized that most were educated into the Leftist Worldview that a 'great' education assures.

They say that 'people get the government that they deserve'; well, this Generation of Socialist-minded, idealistically naive folk will surrender their personal freedoms to their Elitist Lords, and then they'll get a REAL education via Orwell's "Animal Farm" model of societal governance. As dysfunction and collapse ensues.

Were it not for my Faith, I'd be a hopeless cynic. And a believer that it's the Fermi Paradox scenario for a seriously and innately flawed Humanity.

Negative Hoss!

Not true. Not close. Facts are not your group's friend ... but socialist candidates definitely are. As for inflation, you have no clue WTF you're talking about. None! Which is a little bit sad considering the wealth of information so easily accessible now.

How empty, is your life?

What a great question. My guess is his life is empty with golf, fishing, travel, and counting his money.

You on the other hand sound like you’re waiting for your next government check, or your EBT card to be refilled. My guess is you’re a bitter underachiever, and an embarrassment to your parents.
