I think at least one of these ships left 30 days ago or more...i was looking at a cruise this year, but will never take one now. No way I’m getting trapped on a boat

Check out a Club Med. The food is way better.

Cruises are pretty boring, imo, and I’ve never been a fan. Why get on a ship with mediocre hotel food and a bunch of Infected people from Muncie? It’s a ridiculous idea with the virus being transmitted so readily.

still going on cruise ships/floating Petri dishes and we are still letting then dock in major population centers that have ports?

I’m sorry. No offense to anyone who enjoys cruises. But it’s the dumbest fricking vacation idea ever invented. Ever.

One person gets on that boat with the very beginning stages of the flu, norovirus, coronavirus, etc and it spreads like a Ireland fog. You are on a floating casino-hotel with no place to walk out the door. You then dock at some tourist trap with overpriced garbage and fresh new disease.

If I ever get one itch to go on a cruise, I’ll fly to Vegas and put an aquarium in my suite window.

It is not about the Cruise industry, it is about the people trapped on those ships. Most made their decision to go on these trips well before the dangers were fully known. (at least by them) We are a compassionate country and will do what we can to help to save them, and do it in a responsible, safe way. What do you want to do, torpedo them?

Because people who went on cruises before this with were stupid and trashy to begin with. You think COVID somehow changed that?

These ships have been anchored off the coast for a few weeks. I saw a when I was out on the water in South FL a few weeks ago.

Why do people comment on things and don't know the truth ?

One of the ships that docked yesterday left for their trip on March 7th.

Well AFTER the crap with this started.
