We southerners are people of the BOOK. Given sanction by Deeevine Providence by the Almighty himself. Our ways may seem simple and outdated. But that is because the Yankee, sir, has wanted it that way....and he has wanted it that way since before the Past Unpleasantness foisted up on us some time ago.
It is suggested that so many of our people are undereducated and undercompensated. We here in the South take a different view. We care about our people enough to slowly bring them along both educationally and economically....too much, too soon isnot.....IS NOT a good thing. We take the conservative approach, sir.
