You know I can admit I was wrong and they seem to happen pretty evenly. Maybe the media pushes it more under dems or just recency bias.

I would like to see some common sense changes to cut the number way down.

Maybe more armed officers in schools or single point entry. Maybe use former military as guards in schools

single point entry.

So if a shooter breaches the single entrance then he’s got fish in a bowl?

Shelter in place is stupid. There should be exits all over and you run like hell.

why does it seem that more "mass shootings" happen when Democrats are in office.

So you're just blindly going on a whim

It probably seems that way because you're listening to other people that make shite up with no data

I didnt say single point of exit, you know there are emergency doors that open outward but not inward.

Because there’s a spark to cause national calls for change that occurs at the same time they have the power to move on those calls for change. That and the left causes discord and hopelessness that fosters the environment for such vicious acts of hopelessness to occur.

From the nationalaffaris.com - through Feb 2018/Stoneman Douglas shooting.

There were scads of mass shooting events during the Trump admin as well; three notable such massacres included Parkland in Florida, the Vegas concert massacre and Southerland Springs church slayings in South Texas. I'm sure there were more but those three come to mind.

Overall, the likelihood of being a victim of gun violence really took off beginning with the Columbine school massacre the last year of Clinton, and it's just escalating in the form of a decidedly upward-trending mathematical curve.

Do you just say shite without even thinking of looking at any data?

These Rare Breed forward assist triggers work way better than a bump stock.

Why did the chart above skip over President Nixon, President Ford and President Carter?

It just went from LBJ to Reagan, why?

Murder incidence rate in US -

1990: 9.30 per 100,000

2018: 4.96 per 100,000

Yea, post the number of gun killings in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022...I think you would be appalled at the increasing numbers, and may become a gun-control advocate overnight.

I'd assume because there were no mass shootings in those presidencies.

Mass shootings do not seem to be correlated with overall murder rate. Kind of stupid to try to conflate the two.

First, you're clueless about the murder rate.

Murder incidence rate in US -

1990: 9.30 per 100,000

2018: 4.96 per 100,000

2021: 6.9 per 100,000, that's still 25% lower than 1990.

Second, why would Democrat driven violence make me want gun control? Why wouldn't Democrat driven violence make me want to control Dems, which means I'd buy more guns?
