I'll take this a step further. Insomuch as interests are gendered, and even cultural, there's been a migration from traditionally male vocations even at the high school level. These opportunities arent there anymore, and degree programs tend to reflect female interests.

Like making more money?

No. Like liberal arts, nursing, or digital stem supplanting older programs girls avoid like a short man.
My company is getting crushed by the dei staff because women have almost zero interest in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Mining and ag engineering programs have all but vanished. Ag economics and mortuary degrees are another. New degree programs are taking their place and many of them are geared toward largely gendered interests. Accounting, HR, education, and nursing are bigger than ever. At least these programs have value.

But people with degrees, on average, make a good bit more than those without.
Why can't you fathom that is the motivation for, you know, getting a degree?

Might want to check your math regarding accounting. Almost no kids are going into accounting now and there is a severe shortage of new grads....
IDK about those other majors as that is not my domain.

You are saying things that have fricking nothing to do with the points Roger and I are making. Stay on point or scurry off

There’s a lot of reasons, tbh. The ones that I know do so for one of the following reasons:
1. They believe in AGW climate change. They believe that the Democratic Party is trying to fix an existential threat to human life on this planet while republicans are whistling past the graveyard. They assume that republicans are paid to ignore it by the fossil fuel industry. Some of these people are avid outdoors people and even outside of global warming perceive republicans as being against environmental protection.
2. They work for the government, especially if they work for a public sector union. Republicans tend to vilify the government and unions while advocating for slashing government jobs and benefits.
3. They believe democrat scare tactics about entitlement programs which they or loved ones rely on.
4. They fear being ostracized by professional and friend groups that are largely progressive or at least not republican.
5. They find republicans push way too hard on dumb social issues like banning porn. They see the conservative nanny state as arbitrary and bad just like republicans see the liberal nanny state as arbitrary and bad.

In terms of female majors there’s been a major shift. I’ve watched our accounting team go almost exclusively female in less than 15 years. But yeah, you might be right about the overall interest in that degree.

I'm saying your points are speculative and I'm giving you a more likely explanation.

Society isnt investing in white men at the current time. The stats will beat that out.
Gen z will be the most confused, directionless generation ever.

These are the most common I've experienced IRL.

The misstep was allowing the prevailing leftist culture to go from uplifting the feminine to destroying the masculine. I’m a classic feminist but what we have now is unrecognizable from classic feminism

Each of those is putting your own selfish interest before doing what you know to be right. It’s rooted in immaturity and fear, and it’s exactly the opposite of being a man

They sound like very weak people.

Most people are weak. That's how the cult of MAGA exists at the same time. Same stuff but different team.
That's why people react so violently and emotionally at people like you and I who go our own path and don't need groups to tell us what to think/repeat.

None of your charts separate men and women. Do we suppose they move at the same voting proclivity rates with regard to education?
I suspect there may be some deviation, but I don’t know and am just asking since it’s the point of the thread.

Gotcha. Missed that in your previous post.
We have mostly women at my firm but we have hired 3 new mid-20s men recently. Anecdotal, so it does not mean much; it is just an observation.
