The GOP needs to go extinct and be replaced by a real conservative party, not people that talk a lot and don't move the needle at all right. The Dems are already infighting between more moderate liberals and the socialists/communists.
I have said the same thing from time to time because the GOP really does need to undergo an extensive transformation -- so extensive that it would be tantamount to extinction and rebirth. The current GOP is too Leftist Globalist Internationalist.
What would be best is for We the People to somehow force the Republican Party to shed its Leftist Globalist tendencies and fight hard to implement the Trump Agenda AND fully embrace Constitutional Conservative ideas and agendas.

He had his pen ready to sign. Congress failed us.
Also, he has pulled the DOJ from defending Obamacare in the ongoing multistate lawsuit that will kill it.
Fedgov is not defending the Obamacare law.

Agree? Disagree?
I don't know that gold/bit currency is the solution - maybe it is - but I agree that getting enough people off the Federal Reserve system would be a tipping point, making the current system irrelevant.
Yes, making the current system irrelevant is the beginning of change.
Fighting over which candidate is least establishment is certainly not the way to go about it.

Yeah...this is what I'm talking about. Pipe dreams that sound good on paper and on YouTube, but pipe dreams nonetheless. Use your head. Do you actually believe Congress will pass term limits on itself?
You just asked for a solution, and I gave you one. I never said it would happen. What's your big solution? You say that libertarians act "above the fray" yet your posts are dripping with condescension.

I agree. You have identified a problem and have proposed a solution. Good post.

Employers should pay employees on weight of gold. But note, this is not an advantage to employers because they enjoy the benefits of the Federal Reserve system inflation. As inflation increase employers labor gets cheaper.
Retail should offer the option to buy and sell products on the weight of gold (or other PMs). The only time the price of products would change would be due to supply and demand, not inflation. Theoretically, with supply an demand being equal if it cost one ounce of gold for a cow in 200 BC it should cost on ounce of gold for a cow in 2018.

I don't know anything about this topic, but, your solutions seems very radical to me. Don't you think that some solution more moderate would work better?

Trump is no different. He's the ultimate distraction. He signed the OMNIBUS into law.
He hasn't repealed Obamacare, nor has he really tried to. He hasn't given any power back to the states and brought the CIA more into the White House. He's the same as the rest. You're falling into the trap

Probably should go with that, because pretty much all of his post is hogwash.

Trump is not for small government or Liberty.

It’s pretty much a uniparty minus a few detractors here and there. Let’s not kid ourselves and ignore the distractions.
Donald Trump is the best case scenario at this point. No one else stood a chance against the uniparty.
As both parties extremes gain traction, we may see the two party system erode, but not anytime soon and certainly not without a fight from the Big Washington crowd.

I won’t argue that Trump is a conservative, and I’ve never called him one. But to even begin equating Trump and Hillary, especially since the election and the things Trump has done, only illustrates the absurdity of your argument. Trump or Hillary, that was your choice. Trump is far from perfect, but he’s a damn OT 10 in small government and liberty in comparison to that nasty bitch.

Hedonism and nihilism are the enemy, people needs to care about the future for things to get better.

So how quickly does that lead to globalization?
