Is it possible that Princess Dianna's death could be related to the automobile hacking?

I think it's highly possible.

Are we supposed to be excited that there has been a major leak of our intelligence capabilities from our main intelligence agency?

It's on front page of NYT.

That must have been a tortured discussion.
On the one hand, the editorial board at the NYT knows this is a major story.
On the other hand, the last thing they want to do is give credence to WikiLeaks for accomplishing the type of investigative reporting they should have been doing over the past decade.

Do these people not understand how to put a car in neutral?
Unless they can remotely control the steering and brakes electronically, you can just bump the shifter up into neutral and coast to a stop.
Granted I do not own a car with push button shifters, starters and automatic brakes (not ABS but that kind that stops without drivers assistance).

It's scary to think that anyone has access to these types of tools to use against people without any sort of warrant

The article's on the top left hand corner of the page for me:
"WikiLeaks Files Describe C.I.A. Tools to Break Into Phones"

Yes, they certainly can on certain models. See the demo below from the Viceland series Cyberwar.
