Trump is such a dumbass.

He should have just sent them to a personal email account on a server in his basement
And gotten rid of them by wiping them with a cloth.

They aren't classified if Trump declassified them.

1. Did he declassify them?

2. I really can't believe that this is the hill many are willing to die on. If Trump had highly sensitive top secret documents, it is a big problem whether he found a way to technically make it legal or not.

Not a single person here would defend any other former POTUS for declassifying highly sensitive information so that he could take it home.

Are there other declassification memos? Not that I recall, but they may exist somewhere. So may Sasquatch. For now, we can only operate based upon those things which we do know.

What we know is that Trump's team has said that all documents in his possession were declassified by him.

And, if that happened, I am certain that we will see the pre-Inauguration declassification memoranda in the near future.

Do you really think that this sort of childish comment accomplishes anything? I actually thought you were smarter than that. Perhaps I was mistaken.

He was the President of the United States. He is in charge of what is Classified or Top Secret, there is no one "above him". If he determined they are not, they are not.

There's been no evidence that any actual Top Secret or Classified documents were there. THe FBI had access to these documents including just in June, and did nothing.

Obama did the same thing, and spent millions of dollars defending his right to do so. Never got raided, did he?

I am a pretty jovial guy, but it is a bit difficult to identify humor in those posts… especially since they were posted alongside a drooling imbecile saying essentially the same thing.

What constitutes a “set of classified information”? Seems like odd nomenclature.

Trump just today made a statement on his social media platform that Obama kept millions of classified documents and question how many of them pertained to nuclear.

Putting aside the total unsubstantiated claim about Obama, his post is clearly an admission that he had nuclear documents and that they were not planted. Nobody would deflect like that if they were being framed.

Possibly. Or possibly this will just linger for a long time, which is what the intended point likely is.

It could also be somewhat subjective as to what is declassified and what is not, based on how the declassification was worded.

Yes.

Then it should be a simple matter for you to link the memoranda.

I eagerly await that link.

His team has said he declassified everything in his possession. Should we not hold them to their word until other evidence is presented?

Well for the record, no, I don’t think any of this banter on an anonymous message board “accomplishes anything”. I’m here for the entertainment, I can’t speak for you.

Is there an official government site where you can find the other one you are referencing and contending may constitute the entirety of what Trump declassified? In other words, where'd you "find" it?

What is your basis, specifically, for thinking there are nuclear topic materials in the boxes?

Judging from the text of the article, you may have hit the nail on the head. At least some of the documents may be based on a pissing match between Justice and Trump on what he has declassified. That battle was in full force last month. Washington Examiner

Do you have any evidence whatsoever that any of this was present?

I get that they have their panties in awad over TS/SCI docs, but SECRET?????

That is shite that was once public that they find inconvenient. Same with anything just plain ole TS. Classified Docs might as well be on Drudge, daily

Aren't passels of documents typically "declassified" upon the changing of administrations?
