Well, in just this little piece I have $50B for border security. I realize you guys don't know all the plans I have but here's a glimpse - I am going to put EVERYTHING on the border.
ICE, Border Patrol, Active military, National Guard, Reserves etc. The entire border will be covered.
I even have a plan that is in work to consider a 5km safety corridor in Mexico, from about El Paso all the way to the Pacific, to offer industry a place to come back to North America from China and so forth. In this corridor I'd like to put a holding center for people to be processed before being released again, that way they are not held in the US - we apprehend someone here illegally, they go straight to this place in Mexico. Processed, released. Of course, I'm also entertaining bringing a fair number of them to DC and releasing them in the most affluent neighborhoods and in locations where congressional members and their staffs live, so they can see the results of their dereliction.
There's a lot of ideas, I'm still turning over the numbers, pros & cons etc. For example, it might be worth it to offer $500 to people that self-deport. Come through a port of entry, have fingerprints, DNA, retina scan, get $500 worth of Mexican Pesos, and off you go to Mexico and back home. If you come back and get arrested, then it's prison time in the holding center on the Mexican side.
This could get people out, give them a good chunk of money to start life again back in Mexico, and so on. If we have the safety corridor, now we have jobs for them to go to. We invest some money in the sea port on Mexico's coast, now we can get the largest container ships in there. More jobs to work the port.
Bring US trucks to Mexico, grab cargo, head north. Bring Mexican trucks (more jobs), grab cargo, turn south.
If we want to get even more ambitious, we tell some of the farmers in CA to use their equipment to start cutting fire breaks and such, so the state doesn't burn down each year, and move those crops to Mexico where many of them ought to be anyway. Save the water table in the US. More jobs in Mexico. Crops still grown with cheap labor and cheap overhead, US consumer not burdened.
This will cost money. I think it's worth it because it's about our sovereignty and our national security. But I can make it budget neutral. I haven't published everything but there is a way to pull back hundreds of billions in the federal budget.
I get all the points people are making here - but this is just one small piece of the pie that I'm addressing.
Lot of moving parts and I'm a one man show.

If Russia wins (they will), we won't have to worry about it, and the Ukrainians will hate us. And, it's more than likely that double that amount will be needed.

Well then, you're really going to throw a tantrum when I put Little Lady Lindsey in a uniform and toss her onto the Ukraine battlefield, because that's happening. Lindsey went over there and said, "Your fight is our fight." She's about to learn all about that. She wants to play dress up as a JAG but doesn't want to go on a patrol or anything, but she's very eager to send the rest of us to war. Yeah, I'm going to fix all that noise. Get angry if you want. Really interesting how you wet your pants over calling out Lindsey Graham and then talk about vets - he's a core reason vets get shafted in this nation. Always pushing us into war, bringing people back broken and messed up.
You realize every time we go through these war cycles we bring in people and then we cut funding later, and it's never acquisitions that get cut - no, your boy Lindsey that you want to fawn over makes sure those survive - but troops that do the fighting get fired, get drummed out of the service on fake charges so they don't get separation pay and so forth.
When the military was fabricating thousands of fake mental health discharges and mistreating troops, where was the Little Lady? Nowhere to be found. When DoD was ordered by Congress to start making things right and they failed, where was the Little Lady? Nowhere to be found. But don't let some MIC money get touched, no, the precious Little Lady will throw a fit.
When servicemembers have called Graham's office for help as they got railroaded by the DoD, Graham gave them the stiff arm.

Maybe Trump wants to sit around the golf course and take turns with Lindsey giving each other handies, but I will never be like that. And I damn sure won't stop calling out forever losers like Graham. Trump can suck up to him if he wants. I will never do it. Graham deserves to be excoriated at every turn. From warmongering to sabotaging his own party just weeks before the midterms, he's a scumbag. Keep crying for him if you want.
