Kinda branches off the “Energy” thread, but I thought it deserved its own. Apparently being included in the defense budget by name now. Science fiction no more?

It targets perception itself, eh?

Comfortably Numb may be a good nick name for this new Tech.

Reminds me of the stories from a few years back of our embassy diplomats coming down with ‘Havana syndrome’

Now you combine this tech with their hologram tech and you have the nuts and bolts of project blue beam.

Might need to upgrade the tinfoil hat to something sturdier! I wonder how a person would shield themselves.

Well it certainly wouldn't be with tin foil. I would think wool would be a better option. Or like a rubber hat.

Curious term, I asked Google

quote:

Cognitive Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to create adaptive, proactive electronic warfare systems that can sense, analyze, and respond to complex radio frequency (RF) environments faster and more intelligently than traditional systems, enabling autonomous detection, classification, and tailoring of countermeasures against evolving threats in real-time for spectrum superiority. It shifts EW from a reactive to an intelligent, learning discipline, integrating cognitive computing for enhanced targeting, decision-making, and maneuverability in the electromagnetic spectrum

Sounds like they slapped AI on everything.

I believe this has already been tested and perfected on 95% of the posters on this board.
