I would literally take any and every age group. I would dead arse rather storm the beaches of Normandy. I would rather freeze to death at Chosin reservoir. I would rather chase Charlie around the jungle. Get me the f$&k out of this economy right this instant.

And that's without even taking into account the women you have to deal with in the dating marketplace

I judge by gas and groceries. Gas fluctuates and that's fine. Groceries, however, I can definitely feel the increase. We don't buy much anything besides food and gas and we usually buy the same items at the grocery store. If you always purchase the same food, it is noticeable. Seems the things that were $2-3 dollars are $5 now and go up .$50 every 6 months. Never mind beef. Glad I bought half a cow last year.
You can say inflation is higher or not, but I'm spending more for basics for sure.

2500 sqft is not a starter home. Expectations are too high for young people. That’s the reality.

Well now all your other posts make sense.

My state didn’t shut down.
Most of the country did, and the trump administration paid millions not to work.

Easy peasy
Then we have a economic crisis and "decreasing growth."
You're stuck on a merry-go-round that rises as it rotates.

What is a "starter home" to you, then?
Can location disqualify a home?

Who knows "affordability" it's a new word.

He didnt shut the country down, he provided the means and the desire for it.

You can add all the caveats you want, but this is the point I made countering the dumbass leftie who thought he had a “gotcha”. So again, thanks for confirming what I said as true.

I would say about 1200 sqft. That’s a starter home. 2500 is definitely not one.
Another thing is most people nowadays (especially younger than me) don’t want to put any sweat equity into a house. They want to buy move in ready and up to date. Yeah. You’re gonna pay for that. Well then don’t bitch houses are too expensive.
Unrealistic expectations and laziness does indeed make housing unaffordable. I agree.

Today, I am one of my best-off friends. I buy the cheapest deli meat available and only when on sale, beef is completely unaffordable, no snack foods or sodas, only cheep beer on the few occasions I can afford to indulge. I lost 50 lbs over the last 4 years, but the real reason is that I had to continually cut back on my grocery purchases as various products became unaffordable. I haven’t bought chicken in nearly 2 months because it’s too high…CHICKEN!
I have developed a taste for pork chops in this economy.

I think it’s a bit of both. Anecdotally, I spent much of my youth living in a 1050 sq. ft. home with 10 other people (extended family). The house only had one bathroom, and we never complained.
