Italian sites reporting AC Milan will turn down PSG's €46 offer for Thiago Silva.
They have to take that. For a CB?
The quote from Berlusconi says they considered due to the offer being "extraordinary" but decided that any possible replacement would be a downgrade and that Milan is a club looking to upgrade.
I guess money's no object for those bastardi.

If someone offered that much cash for Vidic or Ferdinand, I hope we'd take the deal. Gives us more money for another central mid.
46 million euros?

I assume Allegri coming from Milan may have convinced him Thiago Silva is that much above any available option but I'd expect them to have quite a load of cash to splash elsewhere now even if nowhere close to that €46 milllion.
Wonder which CB PSG will go after now?

Agger or Skrtel.
I hope not. As a neutral, I dig that skinhead hooligan vogue these two have paired together at Liverpool.

They are probably the meanest looking CB pair in the EPL.

It was a hypothetical situation.

Gazzetta dello Sport "reported" that Spurs are interested in AVB (along with Moyes, Martinez, Capello and Benitez).
Not that Gazzetta is that reliable but it's a pretty interesting, diverse list of candidates.
I'm not totally familiar with all Spurs' roster but it may not be such a bad fit for AVB?

They are very very good when both are healthy and playing alongside each other. A lot of rumors have come out basically saying both want out if the squad isn't upgraded.

As much as I like or CB pairing, is we were offered 46mm euros for either one, I'd sell in a second...
by the way, Skrtel got hitched today (so did Charlie Adam).

Being a Liverpool fan you may have greater aspirations than a supporter of AS Roma but it would be hard for me lose a CB pairing that look like they'd should be sporting Fred Perry polos and kicking in heads after the match regardless of how much the team could improve.

Malaga is after Robinho.
Milan may do well to rid themselves of his salary. I think they need a player of his type to pair with Ibra but I'm not convinced he's worth the salary.
I think Malaga could spend better elsewhere. Bojan, for example, so I hope this deal goes through because I expect Bojan to blossom under Zeman's tutelage.

And exactly what aspirations do Liverpool have these days?
