Tottenham is OK with paying €18M and tripling Adrián's salary.
He has not renewed his contract with Atlético de Madrid, and simply passed Tottenham's offer on to them (in hopes of them matching it, I suppose). His employers want to retain him, but if they must let him go, they feel it should be for more than this amount.

Havent really heard much. Lambert doesn't talk about other clubs players and Villa generally goes about our business pretty quietly.
I think we do need another winger to compete with NZogbia and Albrighton, who were both awful last year. I think we should be aiming a bit higher than Snodgrass though.

Hopefully AC Milan's interest in Carroll is real now that they are strapped with cash. Wouldn't be surprised if they chased Tevez or Dzeko either.

I'm betting that they use most of this money to pay off their debts. Very little of the Kaka money was used to reinvest in the team. I expect the same here.
They will always be linked to big names, because of their history, but they don't have the spending power they once did. They might get one big name, but it will be someone at a cut-rate price.
