We shall see. Rooney and Van Persie together has the potential of being destructive. It'll take time for them to mesh, but when they do...look out.

It'll be interesting to see how they mesh. Very similar. RvP is better as the focal point of the attack. He'll have to adjust.

Both play the same role, coming back deep to receive the ball, distribute, make runs, etc. It will be interesting to see how they are deployed together.

great deal for arsenal. Managed to get rid of an injury prone wantaway striker for more than he was worth. Reported that arsenal are now contacting cavani, llorente, and lewandowski. What a coup that would be to drop RVP and get cavani. arsenal are having a strong offseason
