Raul Rodriguez has been good for Houston, so I expect to see more backup defenders finding their way to MLS.

Rodriguez hasn't impressed me in the Houston matches I've watched, but it's a small sample size.

He's been forced to played RB because Kofi Sarkodie has been unable to defend much.
So, going forward, he's a big liability. He's still good at defending and attacking on set pieces, while also being able to block crosses and marking. While he hasn't been on top form in the past 2 games, there's a reason that Houston has been giving up less goals since his move to RB.
