Ramsey brings a lot to the table but let’s be honest - him being out of position combined with mediocre defending leaves us vulnerable. He is the percent 10 for a mid table EPL team.

Wonder what happened.
Ramsey can't seemingly play in the system we are employing, especially as a No. 10, as he just doesn't have the production of Ozil. Hopefully we drop him as soon as we can and play someone else wide so Ozil can play in the middle.

He's way better there than he is out wide. If Ramsey isn't going to sign a contract, I see no reason to keep playing him when we don't have any width.

braud do you have any way of browsing the web on your TV? Firestick, smartTV, etc? just pull up reddit and go to /r/soccerstreams - can always find a good stream to watch some of the gold games.

We continue to take small steps forward defensively. Still plenty of work to do though. Lacazette was off in the 1st half but picked it up in the 2nd. Monreal was very involved in the attack. Ramsey continues to struggle. Have to believe the contract situation is weighing on him.

Really think Welbeck, Iwobi and Bellerin have all stepped their game up since the arrival of Emery.
God, I fricking hate mustafi. Holding looked so much better than him. I hope we can start weeding him out of the lineup soon. Just tired of looking at him and he was shite passing the ball as well.

We also looked better when Ramsey went off. Iwobi and Welbeck deserve to start, as at least both bring real width. And Iwobi brings a lot of dribbling ability. He looks like a dinosaur when dribbling, but he's a real wide playmaker. If he can start scoring goals soon then maybe he can push Ramsey to the bench.
Ramsey doesn't work as a no.10 because he's most effective when he makes runs from deep. We already tried him there in 2012 and we sucked until Rosicky displaced him. Ramsey needs to be in a midfield three or in a midfield pairing with someone other than Xhaka.
It would have been better if Emery just sold Ramsey last summer.
