Down 2-1

Zaha once again

Time to take Elneny off. 30 minutes to net 2 goals now. Absolutely blowing a great opportunity after the Spurs loss.

Mustafi never disappoints. He's a lock for a couple disasters a match.

The sequence of play just now really pissed me off. They thought Guendozi got fouled, so everyone stopped playing, then they thought the ball went out of bounds so everyone turns to the ref asking for out of bounds. Palace had a 2v1 inside the box where if they simply made 1 more pass they easily could have/should have scored their 3rd. Very undisciplined play from Arsenal.

This match shows when we don't have our strongest 11 we aren't good enough. Another good transfer window should help.

This is the 2nd time in recent weeks Emery has put out a very defensive formation/lineup and had to make drastic changes for going down before half.

Arsenal dont have the quality depth like you mentioned. Finishing 3rd all things considered with this being a transitional year would have been an amazing feat, something none of us would have thought possible.

Mustafi is trash. Dude is such a shite defender without help. I'd rather mertersacker put on a uni.

He got it so wrong today, but he has nothing. I at least can see him trying, but frick. You can't out mustafi and young defenders.

I would definitely play 34-year-old Mertesacker in front of this clowns. Since he left our defence is very, very poor. Yes, he was slow but he was always on the right place and was always making the right decisions. A decent, underrated defender.

I see what you’re getting at but his last year (2 years ago) he was dreadful. We need to buy 2 CBs in the summer. Interested to see what they do with Chambers comin up. He’s played well with Fulham

We really have to sell Mustafi. Every mistake of his involves him trying to get out of the play. Either by going to ground to early, committing to early, or just giving up. He has the technical skills and ability to be superb, but he doesn't have the right mentality.

I can't see us buying 2 CBs with the other holes we need to fill. Perhaps we sign a top notch CB and use Chambers as depth at CB and also as a defensive midfielder. We also need someone to fill Ramsey's void and I believe we need a new starting LB. Kola is better suited as a backup.

I really don’t think Kola fits long term. He’s a good lwb but is a liability in a back 4. Then you can’t trust Nacho to be healthy. So maybe just a starting CB and starting LB.

The loss to Crystal Palace definitely wasn't ideal, but all other contenders for 3-6 dropped points. Arsenal need to quit shooting themselves in the foot though.

We should know by Sunday afternoon what the real chances of finishing top 4 are after playing Wolves and Leicester. United losing to City and then beating Chelsea is best case scenario. Hopefully Spurs drop some points with Kane being out.

Going into the match I was happy with the lineup. No Mustafi, no Kola. Obviously you wish Ramsey and Auba were fit.

4th is out of their hands. Need to hope Chelsea drop points in the final 3 matches now.
