i'm actually glad we won't be able to sell Arshavin.

I don't doubt that he still has something to offer on the pitch but a lot of rumblings last year was that he was a problem in the locker room.

Depends where we play him. I'd love to see him in the support striker role that he played with Zenit.

I suppose we are going to stick with the three man midfield, so he won't be played centrally. He's lost some speed when he dribbles, so I don't know if he will still be effective on the left.

Yeah I'd love to see him play off a no. 9 like Giroud, but who knows what Arsene will do. Mainly I just like him as a sub because he's more direct than our other players. I thought he was really good at the Euros, and found some form at Zenit. I still think he can have an impact.

It really is amazing that we've only ever played him centrally as a sole striker when everyone was hurt and as a support striker paired with Ju in a CC match.

We had no other option, but I really think this was a terrible move. He hasn't been the same player since that point.

Same for Squillaci LINK

We need somehow to get rid of all these useless, underachieving squad players but we have them on to high of wages. Just more frustration for Arsenal Football Club.

If no team wants them, release them.

that link is broken. But with all English media I really don't know what to trust, since most of it is conjecture and just false.

Arsenal to possibly sign with Adidas as early as 2013.. Awesome, one of my favorite brands.

Just keep the classic look of the home kit is all. The brand does not matter to me. Its whatever is the best deal for to club to generate transfer income.

There had been some talk that we were trying to get Nike to commit early (because our current deal sucks) but I guess that didn't happen. From what I understand, we're inked with Nike until the end of the 13/14 season (that's when most of our commercial deals expire) so I wouldn't think we could switch until after that. Unless it'd be economical to breach our contract with Nike (entirely possible).

I wouldn't call myself a huge Nike fan, but I really hate Adidas. I think Nike puts out a more quality kit on a more consistent basis.

Some pics from our first session. If you look real hard in the first pic there is what I would assume to be an Abou Diaby clone running as we know the real Abou is watching some previously DVRed programs in his medical suite. Also in the second pic is Arsene's new right hand man Steve Bould. Hopefully he will be the one to sort out and organize the team defensively.
