he hasn't exactly been stellar. we can do better. especially someone who can distribute better than a U14 GK.

Besides his distribution, which is fairly overblown, there's nothing wrong with szczesny.

remember that one time szcz got dropped for flappyanski and only regained his spot bc LF got hurt? yeah that was cool.
we could do better. and distribution is pretty key in our system. would be nice to have a competent GK in that area. szcz is worse at his position than any of our top defenders. and it isnt like if we spend on a GK we can't also buy a CB (which we probably won't do anyways).

higuain supposedly flying into london tonight for his medical (according to Sid Lowe, so, reliable). unveiled tomorrow maybe?

Not going to disagree, but depends on your criteria for ranking players of course.
I don't know, I kind of find it similar to the whole oil-baron-buying-Arsenal type of thing... kind of takes away from the integrity of the club for short-sighted gains. I don't care about his off the field stuff, but he's an absolute disgrace on the field IMO, and I'm genuinely surprised 'Pool fans defend him so much. I know it's en vogue to bash him, so I won't belabor the point, but just my opinion. He's awesome though.

confined to England. FA has no power over any other league.
i think Higuain will bag 20+ as well. especially if we can get another creative attacker (Rooney, Jovetic, unknown targets...)

Martinez is highly rated in our setup. The word is he's better than Szcz at that age. Iliev is just a bit younger than him and he too is highly thought of. I'm all about bringing in Marchetti, cutting Szcz loose in the next couple of years and developing Martinez and Iliev.

Szcz has seem to regress instead of improving once he got into the first 11.
