What's everyone's feeling on Pepe? I can't tell if I like him or not yet. I definitely prefer Saka to him at the moment

I like him, still we gotta remember this is just his first season in the Premiership. Takes a while for most foreign wingers/forwards to get used to the game.

I feel like Pepe's game is just a lot of dribbling. I wish he was more direct and tracked back better but idk

We don't really give him the space to dribble. Laca should be making channel runs to draw one defender, so Auba can make an inside channel run to receive the ball if/when Pepe cuts in. Relying on the overlap, as always, is going to put so much pressure on our retarded CBs, who barely have any idea how to defend.
Though the Xhaka-Ceballos axis has worked well so far, I wish Xhaka had a competent weak foot, or could dribble, or drive with the ball from deep. I really hope we buy Ceballos, and also buy Partey, and/or Marc Roca, both of whom can progress play with the ball at their feet or through passing. Also hope Torreria gets a chance in place of Xhaka.
Our CB's are so bad that I don't understand why Holding isn't getting a shot. We need to sell all of them except for the young players.

Mustafi and Luiz are embarrassingly bad. Mustafi diving in on Kane in the second half where they should have scored their third made me want to throw my phone against the wall.

A back three of Luiz, Mustafi, and Kola is a joke of a back line. I don’t understand why Holding isn’t getting a shot. They have to get another CB this window in addition to Saliba.
