CBS crew showed a tweet that the stadium closed 4 of the 5 gates and tried to funnel all the fans through the one gate.
Clearly some issues were going on.
I also don’t think people jumping gates necessarily means they don’t have tickets - they might just see closed gates and hours of lines and want in to not miss the game.
