I hope some of them are ready to go shortly after this cycle ends.

Yep. And they haven't been there long. Hopefully they can get some appearances next year.
I need to get them added to the list tonight.

Josh Perez and Nick Taitague should be here before too long.
Just throwing some names out. We have plenty of attacking options on the way.
Yep, throw in guys like Akale, Akinola, Carleton, Weah that are playing for the youth teams (and maybe Lederman) to go along with the guys CP's age already playing in Europe for B squads or in smaller leagues and you have to figure that one or two more of those guys will develope into high caliber players by the time Pulisic is in his prime, which is crazy to think about but that probably won't be until the 2026 World Cup cycle. Someone like John Brooks could theoretically still be playing at a high level at 33, and CCV and EPB look like they'll be stars. The future is very bright. I don't think we have another Pulisic in the pool but we could build a very solid supporting cast around him, moreso than Donovan and Dempsey got in their primes
Really excited about the 2022 cycle when Brooks and Yedlin are in their primes, those guys will have a ton of big games under their belts as will a 22 year old Pulisic.

I mean, we have never had this much potential talent in the U16-20 group. We just need a few of them to hit.

Exactly, which could make us a frightening national team in a few years. I have to stop thinking about the rest of the world collectively groaning as they watch our national team get better, I can only get so erect

Andrew Carleton is the guy who I think is the closest thing to Pulisic we have. Haji Wright was also in that Schalke group you guys forgot to mention.

Definitely a natural goal scorer. Wish he would've gone the same route as Pulisic to be honest. Surely he has some Scottish great grandfather

I'm fine with him learning a little under Tata. Get some regular minutes in MLS and move to Europe when he's 20.

Beniesta is 16 and back at Barca.

Perez may be the closest to Pulisic right now.
He's very close to making the first team with Fiorentina.

Kid kills it every international tourney he's in. Also the "touch" in preseason

A quick Google search says that he is currently on the Juvenil B squad. Not sure how good that is or isn't.

I'm still holding out hope for Miazga. He's gotten some good playing time in 2017 and a few Best XI of the Week selections.

We still don't have a left back coming down the pipe. Maybe John Hilton will have a rapid progression. He trained for a while at Ajax and was the best player in his age group for the BNT

We have time. Villafana (27) and Garza (25) can fill in for a few years.
But we do have so RBs that could move to the left.

I think he's a right back. No idea if he ever plays left back too, though.

t 18, Ronaldo was playing his 1st season with PSV.
Only someone that is ignorant as frick would say 18 year old Christian pulisic is on a better path than Brazilian Ronaldo. fricking ignorant. Unless CP wins a POY or ballon d'or in 3 years your fricking stupid.
quote:
Ronaldo chose to join PSV after the 1994 World Cup, for which he was selected despite being just 17, but did not play. It was Romário who advised Ronaldo to start his European career at PSV; Romário being a former striker of the team from 1988 to 1993. Ronaldo scored 30 league goals in his first season in the Netherlands.

Just stop. CP is a great player but you've made yourself look ignorant by saying he was on a better path at age 18 than El Phenomenon.

And I don't believe he played in a single game.
