Just for fun — and that's it, this is no way a real measurement of talent, let me be clear — I looked up the overall ratings of every player on FIFA who is age 18 or younger, and Pulisic is eighth.
Can't even get bailed out by FIFA here.

In reality you could probably name your ten best GKs and Midfielders in the world and wouldn't even know who they were playing for at 18, much less how they were actually performing

The initial post said you couldn't name 10 players on a better path at age 18 than CP. In now way did he say now. Thanks for proving my point. At the moment fifa has 8 players rated higher than CP and that's just right now.

He's 75 with a potential of 88 in career mode right now. The update should come out on Thursday after he has like four assists against Panama.

Don't gloss over the fact that he's featuring heavily for one of the 10 best teams in the world at age 18. That just doesn't happen much for people his age. Those all-time greats you said weren't at that level at his age. They were playing for smaller clubs.
No one is saying that Pulisic is going to be one of the 10 best ever, but his path right now at 18 is miles ahead of normal, even for world-class players.

I don't know about this "path" stuff, but Youri Tielemans is every bit the prospect that CP is (and has been for some time)... I mean, he's Belgian, so of course he has grown in that league...
Its hard to believe he is only 19 years old given how long his name has been out there...

And, again, he plays for Anderlecht and hasn't made a move out of the Belgian league yet despite all that hype for several seasons and the big money clubs' quick triggers for teenage stars.
Might be a better player, but where he is right now in terms of club and role is below Pulisic. And that's the discussion here.

It could very well have been his choice to stay and develop.. he's still a kid..
I get and understand the discussion, but it's all relative... and yes I agree, that Pulisic is at a better club/league... role, I could argue for YT for club, not so much for country... Pulisic has a much bigger role, in a less talented team...
Anyway, I think they're both fantastic talents... hopefully, with big futures respectively...
