Do you enjoy stage tournaments, league play, or friendlies more?

I’m always intrigued by UEFA, World Cup, or National team tournament more than leagues or friendlies. Cannot explain why though. EPL series A or whatever bore me. But like today’s matches I am drawn to and set a semi-schedule for

Why would anyone like friendlies more?
Club level, I prefer league matches, but I'd put the World Cup over everything.

League play or one-stage Finals for sure. I’m not a fan of the two-match aggregate rounds.

No one likes friendlies. Tournaments make for a great spectacle, but league play has a higher standard.

I feel the exact opposite. 2 legs with a wonky tie breaker makes for break neck soccer in the 4th half of those ties
