The Turks score first!
Are we allowed to call them Turks?

Guler is really shining in this tournament
Real Madrid is so damn deep and good that I don’t know if he will ever make it as a regular starter there, but he will be a standout somewhere.

This holds the USMNT may be able to hire Southgate

All eight of these teams in the Quarters would have manhandled USMNT.
We need to get better talent.

Popular name but Hakan, Gokhan, Emre, and Volkan are more popular.

The prospect of England losing to turkey 1-0 in the semis off a corner kick has me intrigued

I'm still distraught about Hollands roster. Will this happen to Germany one day as well? How do people in these nations even care anymore once the shift happens?

With a competent coach, we aren't that far away. Hell, the way Switzerland was organized, I'd take a punt on Yakin.

Being a Frenchman or a Dutchman and rooting for these national teams is the definition of cuckoldry.

I forget his name but there was a German leader that previously made your point a real area of emphasis.

They should try getting better at soccer and take their spots

Turkey and Switzerland wouldn't.
we do need better talent tho and better discipline in the final third.
also lets not forget that England has NEVER beaten us in any official tournaments out of 4 chances.
