has anyone done the SBC for either the Bundesliga Calcio A or Ligue 1? I have Thiago Hamsik and Cavani in my squads and that upgrade would be nice. I was just wondering how hard it was/how much coin it would be?

Anyone have any fun Ligue 1 teams to play with in MM? I've built up Aston Villa to be in the Champions League in my current save, so after I win that and/or the Premier League I will be looking for a new one.
I've done the Premier League plenty, La Liga with a bottom table team and Real, the Bundesliga with Union Berlin, Dortmund, and Wolfsburg, a Celtic one, and a Lazio one. France is the last frontier.

Go on FUTBIN or any similar site and they'll have squads+projected values. I did a bunch of Serie A during TOTY to get packs so I might finish it but the untradable SBC Hamsik probably isn’t even close to being worth the like 200k+ cost, especially if he were to get a TOTW IF. His regular card is boss as hell anyway and Serie A is already the deepest CM league in the game.

This is prob my last fifa. I cant take it anymore. Ive played since 11, been on average a div 3 player, but this year im div 5, silver 1. Ive got a $2m sqaud, cheap squads, doesnt matter. Ill win 4 in a row then go 1-3-6 and the cycle continues. Its driven me insane.

After winning the league in back to back years and winning the champions league with FCK. I took the job at Newcastle. Got them up from 10th to 5th in two months.
My GK I had at Kaiserslautern is only 20 and is rated a 90 already. I short listed him and they say it would take an offer of 113 million pounds to get him.
But I got the Buffon they put back into the game for 18 million and hes only 18 and a 83 already.

Say it louder for the people in the back! I don’t know why I still play. The frustrating part is beating the shite out of someone and losing because he bangs in two rebounds off corner kicks, or the cpu fouls him in the box, so despite being outshot 19-4 and outpossesed 60-40, his keeper makes 13 saves and he wins 2-1.
Squads really don’t matter either. If you get a guy in the correct position he’ll score. That’s the game animation if FIFA decides its time for you to lose, then they just dumb down your keeper and give the other guy possession on all loose balls. I had an on goal on a back pass to the keeper from 40 yards under no pressure the other day. He sprinted up to receive the pass and it went right by him. Rolled into the net at a snails pace. It’s EAs way of saying that your keeper sucks so you should buy packs, but De Gea is my keeper.
I’ve started to notice a ton of coin farmers lately too. Ran up against a guy yesterday that had 99 Ronaldo, 98 Messi, and 93 Henry leading his front line. Viera, Gullit, Del Piero in the midfield, TOTY Bonnuci and Ramos at CB, and TOTY de Gea at keeper. That’s 15-20 million in coins and you would have to spend about 10 grand in real money on packs to collect that many coins. I’ve been seeing it a ton lately though.
Also noticed a few weeks ago that TOTW braithwaite was selling for around 16k on the market, but there were a dozen or so cards selling for 87k buy it now. They all sold. That’s people buying coins.

Marseille has an older squad and not a ton of money, but it also has a real in-game stadium and some slick kits. It would be fun to try to win the UCL with them again. I’ve toyed around with that idea. Morgan Sanson is a cheat code.
Saint-Etienne would be a similar but harder challenge. They’re also former European Champions. Stephane Ruffier will keep you in almost every match.
Nice have Balotelli and several fantastic prospects if you want to jump straight into the UCL.
Lille have slid down the table, won the title within the past decade. They’ve got some fun young players to build around and decent kits. You can make it your goal to find and develop the next Hazard.
France can be a lot of fun, because PSG always seems to buy a superstar or two per year. I also turned the commentary on French during domestic games when I had a Monaco save in 17. Something different.
The only country I’ve never really stuck with is Spain. I had a decent one once with Valencia because of their kits, the Mestalla (which isn’t in the game anymore) and Rodrigo (RIP your godlike potential).
Losing Serie A licensing has took some of the shine off playing in Italy, although I kind of want to do a Milan one and try to make them a superpower again.
The ones I’ve done the most in recent editions are England, Germany (my favorite), Portugal and Holland.

This shite here is why im over it. After a year of playing Dark Souls 3, being able to feel myself get better, understand the timing and mechanics, jumping into FIFA is just insanity. The RNG is out of control. Ive put well over 250 hrs into the game and havent made any real progress. I can pull some more skill moves,i can slow my style down or speed it up, low drivens, finesse, all that, but it doesnt matter. At the end of it all, its all down to rebound goals, rng 50/50s, and ederson becoming the greatest keeper who will ever live.

I’ve considered Saint Etienne and Nice. I like developing young talent, usually sell everyone off over 28 that I can, so good young prospects are a plus. I’ve also thought of Bordeaux because of Malcom.
I haven’t done a Portugal yet, but that could be a fun save to do.
I did an Ajax before, but like Celtic the budget is so much higher than the rest of the league it’s really not fair after the second transfer window.

Yeah, I’ve done Ajax just to try to win the UCL or find a place to jump to in a few seasons.
Portugal is entertaining with the big three. Breaking the title drought with Sporting was a fun career. You could also try to upset the top with Braga.
Belgium is one I want to do, but I get bored in smaller leagues after a couple of seasons.

I'm in the process of finishing the Ligue 1 challenge. I want to play the 4-3-3 with an attack based around neymar, cavani, and di maria or mbappe. It's going to cost you 200k coins, but you get that much in packs back and the cavani card would be worth 150k+ anyways.

Finally broke down and bought this game. Started a MM with QPR using the OS community sliders. Got waxed by Reading in match 1, beat Crewe in the Carling Cup, then turned around and lost to Wednesday 1-0 on a game I thought I played pretty well.
The AI seems crazy aggressive this year and defending is a lot harder to me off the bat.

looking at the championship table and there's a decent shot we'll get 3 new stadiums in the game next year. Villa is the only one in the top 7 that have their stadium in already.
Championship starting to build a decent roster of real stadiums too at this point. If Sundlerland and Hull manage to stay up youd have those 2, plus the 3 coming down, plus QPR, Norwich, Middlesborough, and Villa (assuming neither of the last 2 come up). That's almost half the league.

Not sure where to put this but here's my question. I am looking to possibly upgrade from XBox360 to a newer system for FIFA 19. 360 does not do journey mode and I feel like I am missing out on some of the improved graphics currently only have 17. Which system should I upgrade to?

did they change the development system for new FIFA?
i was not big on the last one, and having to pick which dealios to practice. And also you could only practice 3-4 players. I'd like to be able to hire coaches who would do that for me.
Did not buy FM18, it looked like another data update, passed this time and play fm17 still.
