FIFA/EA need to go back to making a separate World Cup game.
The ones in 2010/2014 where you could go through qualifying with every sanctioned nation was legit.
Then in 2018 all they did was slap on a lame update on FIFA 2018 that only added all 32 World Cup teams.

The only reason I thought about getting 23 is to play with a Unicorn like Halaand, but I may just get 21 or 22 to do the same thing

That 2014 WC game showed how piss poor EA was though. They couldn’t even get the formatting of the WC right. When you would get to the knockouts it wouldn’t seed the teams properly (A1 v B2, etc) and then it would redraw the matchups after each round like it was the champions league

Getting it tomorrow will be the first time in 5 plus years since I’ve played but want to try it out PS5. Need to get back into sports games with NCAA coming back next year.

I’m excited for the WC stuff even though it’ll 100% just be an update to the game like in FIFA 18. So all WC teams will be fully licensed? There will still be other international teams in the game you could use in the mode right, ie Greece?

I imagine it will be like other FIFA games where the countries that have enough players in the game to have an international roster will be playable
