I only play seasons and have it set to restrictive matchup. I play as Aston Villa or Benfica (FIFA 22) and 90% of the matchups I get are either Mexico, Tigres, or Ajax

This game needs a title update bad, the more I play the more I get frustrated with it.
There was supposed to be a big update to defending but my players are consistently out of place or just let people run by them for no damn reason. Also for some reason they switched algorithm for the manually switching players on defense from years past, I have been playing consistently for 10+ years and I am confused as hell as to why they are switching me to certain guys that aren’t in the play at all.
Id say maybe Im just bad but I’m still winning at a very good clip, the game is just frustrating as hell to me.

I have FIFA 22 and the only mode I'll play is career as a player which means I start out in Houston. How long will it take me to leave MLS for a different league?

Was looking for a post like that I agree. It’s not satisfying at all when players feel like they have cinderblocks for feet so they are not quick enough to overcome them bieng out of position.

Ive never played to the meta of just pace pace pace because I like playing with guys I like, but my CBs are DeLigt and Skrinniar who are both relatively pacey for CB’s with Shadow chem and they consistently just get ran by without following the run til its too late to catch up. Also I swear 50% of the tackles I make the player I tackle ends up with the ball again. Ik Fifa luck is a thing I just seem to never get any I guess due to the way I play

Need update. My CBs get straight up blown by like they aren't trying. I was Leeds and lost to Ted Lasso 5-1 last night.

Pretty sure the WC DLC was current teams. I played the “Play Now” version during WC and enjoyed it. My U.S.A. squad played Iran almost exactly like the game played out irl.
Have only played the content once since the final and that WAS playing the final. Fun dl for me but I’m a casual player.

I've been consistently playing ultimate team division rivals is a pretty big sweat fest even in the higher divisions.

I just upgraded from 20-23. I have created a English league two club in manager mode. I don't like that it appears you can't go backwards and reload from a previous save unless I am missing the screen. Defending is tougher but I am enjoying it so far.
