I'd feel better if Scott Parker wasn't missing sitters to put the game away.

My guess is some variation of that 4-1-4-1 that he liked to employ at Bayern.

Spoiler alert: there is no formation.
And Hart got benched
Silva in a holding role this is going to be great.

Clichy and Sagna will probably play more as midfielders with Fernandinho deep as a pseudo 3rd center back with Silva and De Bruyne pulling the strings. Although Clichy has Sterling on his side so he may not provide as much offensive width as Sagna. I don't see Nolito playing as a RW for the entire match.

I can assure you Man City isn't lined up in a traditional 4-2-3-1.
I'd imagine a 4-1-4-1

Silva and De Bruyne will probably take turns providing width and linking play. I see them both spending a lot of time through the center.
One underrated thing about Pep and it was probably his biggest success at Bayern was his work with the defenders. Boateng under Pep turned into a ridiculous player. They spent a lot on Stones but I'd be excited about what he could become.

Kolarov as a freaking CB with Mangala not even in the team. Pretty clear messages to him, Yaya, Hart and Nasri.

don't freak out about the center backs. Joshua Kimmich is like 5'8 and he started several games at center back.

I know, I know. I trust Pep, I just hope this doesn't backfire.
