The LA Galaxy are still constructing their roster like it's competing in the MLS of 6 years ago. The league has changed alot since then, and the Galaxy remain stuck in the past. They care way more about flashy signings to fill the seats, while their back four is a complete disaster. It seems like GBS is out of his depth as manager.
Zlatan papered over so many flaws in that team the past two seasons, and without him those chickens are coming home to roost. Pavon and Chicharito aren't gonna pick up all that slack. Jona dos Santos is great, but he's injured right now.
All they have to do to see what a properly constructed roster looks like in modern MLS is learn from the team that spanked them last night. LAFC has a bench player XI that could compete with the Galaxy's starting XI, if not beat them more times than not. It's baffling to me how the Galaxy have mismanaged things since 2014.
