I want to come back to this bc I think it’s really important. We’re talking about a powerful organization with people who know each other REALLY well. They are friends and know a lot about one another. It’s hard to know when to switch hats from friend to professional, especially when you someone is talking to you in confidence.
I don’t think Gio’s mom intended to blackmail anyone. I think she was upset and made a point bc she knows Gregg better than anyone. Of course no organization can hear that and DO nothing. They have to cover their arse, and I think Gregg is being melodramatic about it. Does it suck? Yeah. I hate it for him, but he didn’t deny it. You never know when you have to pay for your past. Be an adult and take responsibility

He spoke to a roomful of people about Gio and pretended to think it would not be reported on.
I don’t keep a running list of things that make me think he’s a POS. Those are all just in the last month.

No. I started my answer saying my bad I thought the cops were called. Then I quoted you saying why should we not believe Gregg. I said bc he claimed blackmail and you said no, he didn’t, that the independent investigation said that. Then, I quoted the part of an article where Gregg says it looks like he was blackmailed

When you first said "it was public record" you weren't responding to me at all, you were responding to someone talking about Gregg kicking his wife.
It's ok to admit you didn't know there wasn't a police report, just stop doubling down when the proof is literally a page before this.

Huh? He went to therapy 30 years ago. I'd call that owning up. I don't think he's under any obligation to just blurt that out to the public when its long been resolved and his wife and her wishes are involved.

Danielle Reyna is a piece of shite.
Let me see if I have this straight: Gio Reyna, a 20 year old man, was unhappy with his playing time so he went crying to mommy and daddy. That's strike one; adults don't handle problems like that. Instead of encouraging him to work harder and have a better attitude, his shitbag parents decided to hint at blackmailing the coach, who is Claudio's best friend and was the best man at his wedding.
The Reynas are the pieces of shite in this situation. They should be shamed into oblivion. In modern society, she knew where this would lead and she knew exactly what she was doing. Anyone defending her here is an awful person.
